Ffion is an incredible role model for athletes and humans in general! Unreal talent and a good heart - proof you can be kind and savage at the same time. Great podcast 👏
This was absolutely amazing. I wish it had been 4 hours long. Great information, stories, and relatable experiences. I loved this so much. Thank you for having her on and sharing this with us.
I got so excited when Ffion said she loves Perth?!?! Like whaaaat no one ever likes it here!! This was an awesome podcast, I’m so excited to get back into bjj
You’re right James, she has a shy side and when killer side comes out, it’s magic. She is such an amazing example of passion and strength on and off the mat. Great interview.
I'm Welsh, about 12 weeks into my BJJ story and a long time follower of you James but never seen or heard of ffion intil this podcast, she's awsome man, what a lovely human being and killer on the matt. I hope to meet her some day. Thanks both.
Ffion is a HUGE role model for me and many other women and men I'm sure. I really loved the interview James, and how you enabled Ffions' beautiful humble personality to shine. I loved the direction the interview went where you seemed to fascilitate opening Ffions' mind to her value and business opportunities. Her shyness immediately disappears as she spoke about her craft and went into instructor mode. It made me immediately search for her instructionals!! Can't wait to watch this space 🙌🙌🙌
Great podcast, you managed to bring her character out, some of the others ones I have seen of her were more flat. Maybe rolling with her before it was a good start. Whenever she tried to divert away from her achievements etc you did a good job of steering it back on track.
Aye I also used the shopping bags to sneak into the gym. Once a black beans bag broke inside my bag, no big deal. The next day I went training and while I was rolling a bean fell off my sleeve lmao
Just fyi about the guy who ipponed his student. It was a kid that was killed and the Sensei actually did it something like 40 times and got other older students to throw the kid. He complained that he was in pain and was thrown more, then he vomited and was thrown more. The poor kid was thrown until he lost consciousness then died

58:00 You're so spot on, I've been procrastinating creating an email list for so long now but this part burned a fire under me to take action.

This was awesome, thanks James.
Awesome episode. What a great person.
Ffion is amazing.
Great podcast! Ffion is a beast! Will be great to see her in action in the USA circuit again when borders open up!
The sweetest savage

She’s a legend!
I’m amazed James is shocked he couldn’t score on Ffion. Even with the weight difference there’s levels. I doubt she broke a sweat
shes crazy strong for someone whos only 135 pounds and a vegatarian as well.
Vegetarian doesn’t mean weak at all! Look up Patrick Baboumian. Some of the strongest people/body builders are plant based
Lol we all know what that means
It's a myth u need meat x
Time for a title change to “ADCC CHAMP” 🎉
I love her! I wish she would do a seminar in the US near me.
Purple belt, fair play 👌
How do you not like this Woman.
You seem almost a bit smitten with her James x
