I love how expressive he is while singing. It's one of the many traits I love in him as my ultimate bias. He's not just singing the song, he's feeling it, he's living it.
True! But I've also noticed how expressive he is on other platforms as well like on PTG maker, etc. And weirdly those parts of him were what made me love him as an artist so much. So when he amped it up in this performance, it made me appreciate him so much more :')

Jinho is currently performing in Iron Mask musical. It's his 3rd musical since 2013 (previously he played in musicals called Summer Snow and All Shook Up). But he always plays supporting charactes. I'm waiting main role for him.

I'm sure Jinho's vocal health is perfectly fine! From what I can tell as a music education major (meaning I'm not an expert but I have a fairly good grasp on the subject), he often uses proper techniques involving breathing and vocal production that allow him to hot those high notes without him hitting his throat. It's called head voice or head mix, and it's perfectly fine on the throat ☺
He worked as a vocal trainer after leaving SM and before becoming a Cube trainee. He also part-times now as a vocal trainer to some of Cube's present trainees (Seonho, for one). He has a good grasp of the technical part of singing, so I wouldn't be worried for him. :)
im not a pentagon stan, i think i listen to one song and thats it ahaha but jesus christ superstar is one of the obsessions i come back to once in a while. This is a very difficult song, and it only hits if you do it with feeling. if you try to sing it like a normal song it WONT WORK. you need to really get into character and get that raw emotion out. the musical theater way. you need to ACT. AND JINHO NAILED IT. He got into that booth no intention of playinng! right to business! I love this cover sosososo MUCH. And I loved that he managed to make the song his own. Maybe i'll check on pentagon more often now ahahaha awesome. Is he the one that does the high note in dr. bebe?
I'm so impressed that his low notes aren't breathy. If you sing your lowest it's really hard to not make it breathy, idk why but breathiness helps singing low notes. Just makes me feel like he's singing it with ease and it's not at all his lowest.

아 솔직히 이 영상 100만회 걍 넘어야하는데...
im not a pentagon stan, i think i listen to one song and thats it ahaha but jesus christ superstar is one of the obsessions i come back to once in a while. This is a very difficult song, and it only hits if you do it with feeling. if you try to sing it like a normal song it WONT WORK. you need to really get into character and get that raw emotion out. the musical theater way. you need to ACT. AND JINHO NAILED IT. He got into that booth no intention of playinng! right to business! I love this cover sosososo MUCH. And I loved that he managed to make the song his own.
Maybe i'll check on pentagon more often now ahahaha awesome. Is he the one that does the high note in dr. bebe?
He and Hui. But Hongseok too can rich this high note. I really recommend their b side The Game. For some reasons their b sides are More adventurous

I'm so impressed that his low notes aren't breathy. If you sing your lowest it's really hard to not make it breathy, idk why but breathiness helps singing low notes. Just makes me feel like he's singing it with ease and it's not at all his lowest.
