I bought a Ford 1100 D about 10 years ago, an took it completely apart, and rebuilt everything that needed to be, and repainted every thing piece by piece, and reassembled it, it looks and runs like brand new, I only put about 8 or 10 hours on since, it just sets I my garage. I start it up every couple of weeks, it always starts right up,
I have given that thought but with all I am doing these days not sure I can give it enough time. I am sure to find someone who will want to take that work on at some point.
If you ever do more work on that Ford, please film it. There are ZERO vids when it comes to these 1110 models. Here's a tip. Pull the rubber inspection plug on the bottom and inspect the lower housing. Mice LOVE to go in under the steering column plate and pack that housing FULL of seeds and nests! It cost me $2500 bucks to have the tractor split at the clutch bell housing to have all the mice seeds taken out from between the clutch plate and pressure plate! Tractor wouldn't go into gear. Plates were locked up. Just went out 3 days ago to move tractor, and once again, wouldn't go into gear. Pulled rubber plug on bottom, and took out 15 lbs. of corn/seeds from housing. Pulled the upper rubber plug on right side, and that was full of seeds as well. Needless to say, I will have to split the tractor myself to inspect the clutch plates. The shop I brought it to fixed the clutch issue but failed to seal up the access hole that the mice used to get in. When I was starting it, I could see corn coming out from under the steering plate that surrounds the steering column shaft. If you want to avoid the same problem, tuck steel wool around base of steering plate and seal it up with some silicone. I wish I had done this when I got my tractor back from the shop.
Thanks for the video the spring must have dropped out on the dirt, I watch your video made me think I don't remember seeing it with my magnet found that in the dirt
That's a great help thanks. Similar problem with my ford 1100 just have a cup of tea now and then off to remove fuel pump really helps to see the process and what to look out for ie springs flying out. Wish me luck regards Sam Woodward England 🇬🇧
@@kmanbuilds I can't figure out why, that if I see the fuel pumping out of the pump with the injectors lines off , and force fuel up thru the lines, that then the pump won't pump. Do you think that the cam lobes could be worn out?. That don't seem logical to me.
I run a 4' woods brush hog. I need to run in 2 or 3Lo in really tall and thick fields. Otherwise 1 or 2H is fine. Driving a 5' mower would be pushing it, unless it's fairly short and dry grass... you'll be moving very slow to keep the pto at 540.
I bought an iseki tx1500 having issues starting it not sure it's the injection pump but I'm not getting any fuel to the injectors do all pumps once primed send a little drop of fuel at a time like seen on your video?
I believe they do run on a small amount of fuel. What you see in the video is all it takes to run my tractor. Which probably explains why it can run forever on 3 gallons of fuel.
I believe this tractor uses in internal filter screen which can be cleaned. It think you will find it on the left side of the tractor, as your sitting on it, on top of the hydraulic pump. There is a horizontal chamber with a cap held on with a bolt on the back, closest to the driver seat, which comes off and the screen will pull out. Hope this helps.
it sounds more like a problem with the throttle assembly. I would look at that. If I remember correctly, there seems to be some type of connecting "fork" for a lack of a better term, that the throttle rod goes into. It is located inside the motor to the left when you pull the fuel pump. I would look to see if it is not installed correctly or perhaps broke. That is the first thing that comes to mind.
@@kmanbuilds so looking at it now the governor arm does not line up with the injection pump post in the shut down position. Looks like its almost a 1/4 inch off. Looks like i need to pull the front cover and readjust the arm.
i bought a 1100 ford yeah will be easy to find parts..boy was i wrong you cant find squat for these things at all and when you do the part cost more than the tractor...next time yamar for sure ...ford sucks

Great information thank you!!!
Great little tractor.
$1,200 bucks??? bring that thing up to Colorado, it's worth $10k up here.
You think so? I've got a 4x4 1100 in Trinidad
They’re worth a good penny I’ve been offered 4k for mine
Do you need to tighten the check valve line connection, tightly into the pump?
I just snugged mine up. If I remember correctly, it is a tubing fitting so it does not take much.
@@kmanbuilds if you turn your fuel on did fuel come out of the pump if the injector lines weren't connected
If I opened the lines before the fuel pump and then opened the fuel on/off valve, Yes I would get fuel to run out.

Can these run a 5’ brush hog?

Glad it helped.
Where did you get your injectors remanufactured
I have one tractor like that and lm loking for the hydraulic filter location thanks

Great video, but lose the loud music!!
My 1100 i have tried everything even a new injection pump. Revs out of control and will not shut down.

@@kmanbuilds connecting fork is hooking into the pump ok. The throttle linkage is hooked to the fork by a spring. The throttle linkage in on the pump.
makes me think maybe something inside that the fork is connected to. Not easy to diagnose

that makes sense. Hopefully that will get you going.

Got to deal with the music. Holy shit it drowns out everything to us that can't hear shit
sorry, this is an older video. Cant change it now.
cant hear what you're saying!!!!!!Q!@!@!@!@

If you'd like the manual to that tractor, I could send it to you. Give me your email.
