Grateful For These Days the trips to Muskoka are always memorable ones.
Our first time up there with two kids, we can easily see that it will only improve as they grow up. It's been such a special place for me to grow up and Hannah to experience over the past decade, and now it will be an amazing place for our kids to experience for years and years to come.
The community is so fun, and family time is the greatest. I am super happy to have had time to hit a round of golf with my pops, take the kids to Santa's Village and Webers, and even on a Pirate Ship cruise. Even though the weather was terrible, we made the absolute best of it. My sister and his husband have been upgrading the cottage, giving it a new feel and level of enjoyment. I'm super thankful for our time there and the beautiful space they're constantly creating.

Seeing your true Canadian identity come together whilst creating memories with your children is pretty awesome! I dated a Canadian when I was in college many years ago and sadly, he never showed me that beautiful part of Canada. He’s from Ontario. My great grandfather is from Montreal. Your video helps me appreciate a little bit of my heritage from my French Canadian Great Grandfather. Preston is a whole vibe and talking a lot more now. That Santa village looks so much fun! I'm so sorry for your loss, Brendon. My mom got cancer (metastatic breast cancer) at 48, when I was ~12, she later developed several brain tumors during my finals and died after 8 years fighting against cancer. It has such a huge impact on my life. I was growing up as the "golden child", always on top of class, interested in everything, curios... But these tough times hit me pretty hard. I struggled a lot and am just now 3 years after her loss fighting back into a joyful, eager life. I just really wanna study, it's my only motivation to achieve that. But grief is so hard, experiencing tradegy like cancer and death in oney family takes its toll. I really hope one day I'll be able to live a joyful and successful life like yours with a supporting partner by my side. Wish u all the best for your grief journey. Enjoy life❤

I love P's ginger coloured shorts - the length is great on him. Being a grandmother I know and feel the pain of your mother saying goodbye - it is like nothing else. I literally get so empty when mine have gone and they hold your heart in their hands and I realise as they get older they may not want to spend so much time with me but I hope so. I really do.

What an incredible trip you shared.
I was surprised you did not have a toilet before in your bunkie area and so glad you do now especially with the children. Take care of your parents as when they go the loss is phenomenal. Their guidance and protection can never be replicated I find. No one cares like they do. I would definitely work on the bunkie and have a deck if it has not got one and have regular trips as it makes great filming at any time of year. Fascinating area and so lovely to be on the water and good fresh air away from cars and roads an New York pollution. Great also for the children to get to know their grandparents. My dad never met my grandchildren but my mother knew one who was so special to her.

This time of year, as in England, the temperatures drop a little as we approach Autumn. It is still in the 70's but the warmth is in the middle of the day. People at the island near me swim all year round and have special warm coats to wrap in after the swim.

Oh my goodness further into the video and so sorry for your loss. 44 is far too young and hidden heart problems although with heart disease in the family I would have thought he would have had tests in case. So sad and I lost a dear friend who I had known in my younger years and a dear friend who I had not known long and both touched me deeply in their kindness and dear hearts. Now someone I know has esophageal cancer which my cousin's husband died of and both wonderful people - why the good ones I ask myself. Anyway Lake Muskosa looked so lovely this time especially Santa village and the pirate fest that I looked it up and they describe it as The Hamptons of Canada. You are lucky to have another home to visit that is special - that of your parents. Both my parents are deceased and my children take me for granted so I depend on myself mainly even though I have friends but trust and love are in short supply and you have to be strong within yourself as you get older and lose people.
