Hi lynn, Is it possible for an international student to manage all of their expenses with a single part time job. The reason Im asking this is that i heard the students have limited time for work.
Heyy. I’ve applied to Concórdia University, however I’ve not been able to find the prices concerning the dorms and whether you pay annually or monthly. And when it comes to the meal plan do you pay annually or monthly.
I started an application through that same school. For film and tv. I haven’t finished. I would love to come. I’m afraid, one I know absolutely no in Montreal. I do have a relative that lives in Canada. I never met them . I don’t think it’s Montreal they live in. I don’t have anybody to show me around. I don’t speak French. With the covid 19 right now, I know there’s restrictions. I live in the United States. I don’t know how to get a permit to be there. I wouldn’t know how to prepare to come there. Any advice
Hi! To be completely honest with you, if you’re not in a hurry, I would wait for the COVID situation to calm down. As for making friends and getting to know the city don’t worry about that! It can easily be done no pressure and nothing big to be stressed about. Of course at first it will feel overwhelming but eventually it gets better! For the permit process I would advise you to check the government of Canada website to know more about what to do. For the French part, don’t worry too much about that for now, practically everyone speaks both French and English here. But of course if you are looking into staying here in the long run you will have to be open to learning French. Hope this helped!
@@LynnZakhour there’s no hurry. I would like to start working on my bachelors at least maybe no Jan 2022. I don’t really want to be in school forever. I want to get it over with. I’m considering par-time online with the school for the meantime. I would like to give myself time to learn a little French. I’m sick of the U.S and just want to go somewhere different. I don’t want to go there without a plan. I do have a cat. I have a lot of clothes and books. I need to figure out what to do with that stuff. How is dating out there?
You all probably dont give a shit but does anyone know of a tool to log back into an instagram account..? I was dumb forgot my login password. I would appreciate any help you can offer me
@Kashton Emiliano Thanks for your reply. I found the site through google and im in the hacking process atm. I see it takes quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
Hey! It depends what system you are in during high school. For example, I was in the French system so they needed proof of my English proficiency so I had no choice but to take the ilets exam. Hope this helps!
Is this for a undergraduate student or graduate student? I checked in the mcgill uni website and they have mentioned living expenses in Montreal for a student is around 12000 $ per year. Is that really the case? While hearing you I think it is impossible.
As an undergrad myself, this is for undergraduate student, but it should be very different for graduate students. And yes I would expect it to be around that number! 😊
Hey! My pleasure :) it will be a bit tough not knowing any word in French, however, I think you can easily learn the basics it’s very doable. But you should definitely think about maybe learning the basics of the language because most jobs require you to speak the language. Again just the basics you don’t need more. Good luck!!
its was not what i wanted but i give like... what i want is where can i find a good university in montreal for Crime Science or Dtective stuff or Prosecutor
Hey Lynn!! can you please tell me that ..Are the free French learning hours of international students are deducted from the part time working hours(20hrs per week) for international students ???
Hey..., firstly you videos have been so informative so thanks a lot ,secondly i just applied to Concordia and I wanted to know how long it took the school to reply to your application...... Thank you
Hey! I’m rlly glad to hear that, thank you! As for when you should expect ur acceptance, I am not able to tell you exactly when since it depends on when you applied. In my case I applied in November and got my acceptance in mid January. I would say the latest should be April to May (that’s if nothing has changed since).
Hey Fatima, I've applied to Concordia University at the end of January and got a response two days ago. I believe it all depends on the program you're applying to, best of luck!

It's not only Concordia, Laval to. I'm struggling a little, it's 18k per year for languages. So it's pretty expensive to. You'll need almost 22k to 30k for a full year living in Canada. More for me because I'll have to do math with my devise. Like 30k ×100 = 3 000000 HTG so for i year study I should be a millionaire in my country 😂😂.
Thanks for your video. as far as I understood, Concordia has more than one Dorm. which one is better and can we choose between them?
Please make a video on appartments in Montreal with full detail including examples please
Love the vid, please can you also talk about the best affordable schools and adopting to french language, also can you post more vlogs

In my opinion the cold is all worth it! It’s not as bad as people describe it! I will try to make a video about this soon.
