I’m so tired of celebrities going through like fast fashion and only wearing pieces once or twice for the trend and when the trend is over they toss it out. This is so refreshing. You’ve saved for so many years pieces that are timeless. The designer who badmouthed you about wearing that shoe over and over is just so out of touch with reality. I love your fashion so much and it’s nice to see people like you reuse outfits and shoes. Lots of love❤️❤️

The way she talks about the shoes without mentioning any price but the memories and stories attached to them instead. I remember the day I saw this angel for the very first time at Charles and Keith Rockwell, I just froze. I wanted to say hello and smile but I couldn't make myself to. Hopefully one day I get a chance to see her again and could tell her how much I admire her and that she's my hero.

The story about the designer who always criticized her about the nude heels is my favorite bevause Heart didn't give him the satisfaction of bending in to his criticisms. Instead she chose to continue wearing them because they're her favorite pair. Like, "who cares about what people say, this is me!" and that's the kind of person I aspire to be.
I'm a little curious about who that designer is. Seems like they have a poor understanding of timeless fashion despite being a "fashion designer"

Wait... I think that's the strategy of many companies. Try to make us insecure to buy a lot of their stuffs. I guess I managed to resist that stuff because I'm a very sentimental person and I refuse to buy anything that I don't love, and when I love something I want to treasure them forever. What she's saying about not wanting the latest pieces in fashion is not BS. I remember watching Heart's interview maybe 6, 7 years ago about how she's into classic, timeless pieces and investing in items that you will still wear 10 years down the line. She has Chanel and LV bags handed down from her mom and pieces she got in her late teens that she still uses as an adult. I won't ever forget that advice and I've been abiding by that principle. OMG this is soo true... no matter what it is, fashion or any other things that you own, it's all about being mindful, respectful, and grateful to and for it. Some people actually laugh at me for always wearing my fav pair of LV shoes anywhere and everywhere( the right occasion and venue ofcourse, cmon I'm not that stupid..) because of the memory and how comfy it is. But what they don't know is that my way of respecting my things is to actually use them. What good always having new ones when you can't appriciate and respect each and everyone of them.
This video deserves 2M views. She just gave us a different way of presenting an expensive shoe collection! She cleverly matched it with memories and that made it unique. Yey to heart! ❤️

Isa talaga si Heart sa mga celebs/influencers na may sense and substance kapag nag rereveal ng mga items. Yung iba basta alam lang nila yung brand, price, and its an "investment" ayun, yun na yung video at isang malaking sayang sa oras yunb panonood. Relating to her in all aspects when it comes to shoes. Especially wearing boots here in the Philippines. Ang hirap rumampa dito ng nakaboots and people would look at you differently. So when i was in EU, i got so excited and brought my boots and wore them to work everyday! Tapos pag-uwi dito, wala na, balik na ulit sa flats hahaha!

I can relate to Miss Heart about the fact that fashion is self expression and about how you feel. I felt a different kind of happiness when I'm dressing the way I want. When I dress-up even though these dress are from my Lola and Mama, I felt empowered, confident, and I felt like I can take on the world. Sometimes I felt like, my clothes really affect how I feel. I'm happy getting ready for my outfits. I love how vintage clothes of my granparents will be turned or mix-matched to something that screams my personality. And what she said about shoes lasting a lifetime is very essential. You can pair it with everything. It also saves money. We're not rich rich, we're just average. I have the only white sandals which I can use anytime and I really love that. I'm just on the go and it saves time.
