小田急電鉄前面展望登戸→町田 ＜Cabview Japanrail Odakyu Electric Railway Noborito → Machida＞

This is a cab view of the Odakyu Electric Railway, which has lines in the western suburbs of Tokyo and Kanagawa Prefecture, from Noborito Station to Machida Station. This is a sequel to my previous upload, • 小田急電鉄前面展望　代々木上原→登戸　＜Ca... , and the train I'm riding is the same.
Up until Noborito Station, the tracks were quadruple, but from here west the tracks become double. The Odakyu line is a popular commuter town for Tokyo commuters, and both sides of the tracks are densely populated with houses. The tracks are mostly flat, but the area in this video is hilly, and many houses can be seen built on small hills.
At Shin-Yurigaoka Station along the way, the Tama Line branches off. Beyond Shin-Yurigaoka Station, the tracks curve to the right and branch off from the main line. Machida Station, the final stop of this video, is the center of the area, and the platform is built on the first floor of a department store built to straddle the tracks.
In the tunnel, black masks are worn to protect the privacy of passengers whose expressions are reflected in the image. September 2024

That's a first, for me, in one of your videos, when the train passed a power substation serving the overhead! I don't recall seeing one in any of your video's that I have watched! It was neat to see it as you passed beneath it!
