Great to see you back. Due to the limitations of UA-cam it is really hard to judge the absolute tones of an amp. They all sound good. May I suggest you video comparisons between amps. At least we can hear differences and can reasonably judge which we prefer.
Great to be back! We considered doing some direct comparisons but it didn't really work for us. However in our first 20 or so videos there were 'reference' clips we thought may help folks, but not sure how popular or useful that was ultimately.
For what my opinion’s worth, I used to try to jump videos to compare reference clips. Will it Shuck and Double Barrel were great for the Marshally stuff, and Lamb of Zen took the cake for the heavies. I found them really useful.
I haven’t played a D/13 yet that didn’t have too much low end. They’re a real finicky amp on the settings. Played one of their amps recently that had Reverb and even on zero you still got reverb, which was very noticeable on staccato rhythm playing. There’s something about the way they overdrive that I just can’t connect with.
So happy to see these zen amp videos come back! Love the approach to recording, playing and explanation. Keep it up! 👍
Those Foos style settings were mint!
Always enjoyed, and much appreciate the well written description. Nice, nice, nice.
Hey you're back. Awesome!
Glad you all are back!!!
Yes, missed these videos! Looking forward to more, guys.
Good to be back! More coming soon - this stripped back format makes it a bit more manageable 👍
This is best mic recording setup and quality I have ever heard. Do you guys have cab IRs?
We have taken I.R's of all our cabs but haven't really thought about a commercial pack. It's worth looking into, cheers.
That's a great sounding amp.

@@MrSpillify Ok yeah that was the idea but not sure many others found it helpful. Good to know, cheers.
Finally!!!!
wow. have ftr. need this!
Do it!
I hear Leon on the 335
Well spotted !
How goes with the Rivera amps on the wall of amps? 😊
Don’t quite understand the question. How does it compare to the Rivera KH?
@@zenamplification i just wanted to see a great new review of it. 😊🙏
Sounds pretty great. I think I’d still rather have an actual Marshall tho. Never a big fan when they go the thicker, and less high mid route.
Yeah I think these amps are for the guy who doesn’t love the aggressive Marshall thing.

There's definitely a splatty/ghosty kind of things to this amp that I don't appreciate. Lovely demonstration though.
