Thanks for this review. I got this Library when it first came out. Your video supplements the Spitfire walkthrough in terms of how to more effectively use the library. I appreciate that. As for the library, it is an amazing value for the price. It sounds realistic. Otherwise, even $29 would be a waste of money. Some people might complain about the fact that the tenors and bases are combined, as are the altos and sopranos. Or about the limited mic positions. However, for a hobbyist like me, the simplicity and limited options are a plus. I feel like I can create convincing vocal lines in my compositions, even with my very limited knowledge and experience. Again, thanks for the review.
Thanks Peter! I agree, this choir definitely keeps things simple. It’s not meant to replace those high ticket libraries out there but acts as a nice convincing option for hobbyists, minimalists, and those on a budget. Cheers!
Are they locked together? On the left hand side it looks like there are separate categories for each of the SATB - or does clicking, say, soprano just take you to patches with SA?
@@studieslessonstheoryetc141 Yes. Clicking Soprano brings you to patches with Soprano + Alto. You can't separate them. Tenor + Bass are likewise locked together. Some people might consider that a deal-breaker, but I like the simplicity for when you just want "men's choir" or "women's choir".
@@studieslessonstheoryetc141 You can still write 4 voice (SATB) - just use two instances each of SA and TB, or use one instance of each and combine two vocal lines on each instance. This would not be too different from using four instances of another library that separates SATB. The separated SATB might sound slightly more realistic, but I think few people could hear the difference. I don't think this is as serious a limitation as the lack of legato patches and other variations.
ciao, una domanda, ha bisogno di un primo programma di base? oppure funziona cosi subito appena scaricato e collegato alla tastiera? grazie per il video ciao
Great demo Robert 👍
Thank you! 😄

@@NeuroPete given how much choir writing is 4 voice, that is a bit disappointing

Audio output of Epic Choir is very LOW compared to your voice. Great product tho. :)
I’m gonna have to work on balancing mic/Logic audio- Thank you! Either way, big fan of the choir!
