The Kingsboys were very good, but saying they were better than some of the legendary bands they were mimicking is just silly. The Hinsons, Kingsmen, Gold City, Inspirations, and Heaven Bound are legendary bands that were amazing. Don't get me wrong, I loved the Kingsboys as a kid. They just can't compare to these other bands. It's like comparing a new artist with a couple of good albums to an artist with over 30 albums and record-breaking songs.
Did you get any video of Gold City that came on after them?
The band was crazy good....the routine of the last twenty minutes showed they were more talented than a lot of the groups they imitated 😂
I can't see the band members well, but this group performed with the Kingsmen band a number of times. Not sure if that's the case here or not.
The lead singer sounds like he styled his singing after Kenny Hinson !
