My wife who recently decided to ride mountain bikes with me decided to test her self. it's simple to start ! but can be intimidating. If you are still undecided, check out our video to see you can expect to do on your first day at Skypark Santa's village.

    Cool! I just started mountain biking. Been hitting up the local beginner trails. I want to ride sky park one of these days. Subscribed!

      Hi KH, thanks for subscribing! it may seem intimidating at first to hit up a bike park as a beginner, but skypark has so many beginner features and progression skills, it's very beginner friendly! Hope to see you on there soon!

      Skypark is noobs friendly. For beginner, ride Evergreen at least 2-3 times before moving on to the next. It's beginner friendly but anything after Evergreen, you gotta have at least 2 years experience of consistent riding.

      Thanks Darren, i was confused as to where beginners can practice before riding the blue trails on top of upline. Hopefully this will help direct first timers at Skypark.

    Me & my husband are new to this. Why is it dangerous to sit?

    • @frankiesemtb
      @frankiesemtb  3 роки тому +2

      If you are riding flat trails sitting on the saddle is not an issue. But when you are going downhill, over rocks and small features you need to be able to maintain your weight at
      the center of the bike to avoid being sent over the bars. If you are sitting your weight is shifted towards the rear and you are at the mercy of how the rear end of the bike behaves when it runs something over. Which is usually in a upwards direction pushing you up and over. Sorta like a teeter totter throwing you out of the saddle. But when standing your knees and legs can bend and acts as an suspension so the saddle is free to move upwards without throwing you up and over. I hope that makes sense. If still unclear I’ll look for a better instructional video for you

    What camera do you use? How do you keep the camera so still when you are riding? Rarely see camera shaking! Good job!

    Yes finally some beginner info. I follow some awesome guys but I have only been riding for a year and i wasn't sure how beginner friendly it was out here. I was always intimated by this park.

      Hi Jerry, skypark is pretty beginner friendly. There are a few blue trails where you can practice your riding. First day at a bike park can be intimidating. You can study the map ahead of time so you don’t get lost. Probably best if you can ride with someone with bike park experience! Let me know how your first day goes always excited to see people progress
