sir you prace linux a lot and i am also a linux user but for me who dont have that much exposure about the industry and many people havet even touched linux can you make a video on it really dead like you usally do and agar ekk podcast hoo jayee too batt he kyaa
and also i think caus Django is soo much industry grade setup is time consuming but development flows
sir why do we add BASE_DIR in templates for DIRS , as many of them add it prior like this DIRS = [BASE_DIR / templates] , please explain this one sir .
@@khanhuzaif4986 i dont get your question but how much i have the understanding of these thing ( not good with Django learning now ) BASE_DIR is used to mark the entery path or the root folder of our project and then we are going in the templates to find it caus sometimes in production you just cant tell the location you have to programmitically find it thats what i think but also ask it from someone else too

Thank you so much sir. Just needed to add. I had to add ---> NPM_BIN_PATH = 'C://Program Files//nodejs//npm.cmd' in my settings.py to successfully run "ython manage.py tailwind install" command.
hey can you explain it more . I am having problem in "python manage.py tailwind init" . it showing "No module named 'tailwind'"

hitesh sir we can also use shutil module from python and assign NPM_BIN_PATH = shutil.which('npm') , this dynamically provides the path . works only in UNIX based system ; Mac and Linux. just a simple tips though 🙂

bumped into the npm not found error head first 💀. Took a while to figure it out on my own. Later I checked out and found the django also has integrates support for bulma (my css framework of choice). Will defiantly try configuring that too. And also thanks for teaching about hotreload early on 👍🏽. Looking Forward to future videos!!

It looks like node.js and/or npm is not installed or cannot be found.
