Thank U Lady C for thjsy thoughtful videos. . I just spent the day with a friend of mine who's birthday it was. . She was soo tearful as her 2 daughters had not even phoned to wish her. I found that extremely sad. I suggested I take her out for lunch which she declined. I then asked her to play some music cos I didn't know how to handle this statement she repeatedly said. ( I'm just ready to die, I don't know about U my friend. ). I'm asking God continually to allow me as many more years in his world. I'd like to see how my grandchildren progress in their lives. I'm 10 years her senior. I left her house just after 8 as I live 15 miles away from her. I slept very little as my thoughts remained with her. .😭 Her husband died 1 month before mine & that's 18, years ago

I am in Australia but I too lost a son just over a year ago in that manner. He was my eldest so I have an understanding of the pain and grief you and your family are going through.

@@davemurphy6913 Thank you. My heart goes out to you. It is still so fresh for you. Though a number of years the pain never goes away but it gets easier. He was my eldest and only son. His birthday is later this month and then mother's day which are the two hardest days .

How very sad for your family. As a a Christian I THROW my fears and problems onto Jesus. He has really really helped me all my life. God bless and comfort your family.
@@eleanordefreitas979 thank you so much for your kind message. Our family is shattered. Willem was a doctor who was overwhelmed by rostering demands at the hospital during covid. We are still not really sure what happened with Sam - he committed suicide while in the care of the mental health system. Maybe he thought he’d be happier with Willem.

I am so sorry for your loss, I know the pain you must be going through I lost my eldest son, 16, just over a year ago by that manner no words can make one feel better but I was very ignorant until it impacted me just how many families are going through such excruciating grief.

What a wonderful thing you do being an ambassador for something so important. I lost my 16 year old eldest son in that manner just over a year ago, I didn't even see signs. He seemed happy. It is a greif one never gets over, one just learns to live with it.
I can't believe I did not know you were an ambassador.
God bless for choosing such an important but I would imagine emotionally draining organisation to be an ambassador.

Thanks for those words. The guilt of not seeing signs is almost unbearable at times, the what ifs. No parent should ever have to bury a child but until it hit me and my family I had no idea of how many families are impacted by this

To lose a child to suicide has to be the hardest thing to ever go through. I hope you and your wife/mother of the child have gotten counselling for this.take care xx❤

Thank you Lady C. When my daughter was at Uni, one of students in her class had unalived himself because of the worry of an overdue payday loan payment. It made the national news. Needless to say, all involved were devastated by the loss of talented man with his life in front of him. Thank you for promoting the lifeline that is available out there, lives are so precious.
