I wish someone would summons owners of backyard and apartment parties who play music past 10 PM! I miss those days because NYC actually had quality of life as a concept for right to live. Now it’s a loud, fare evading, free handout, pot head friendly type of town!
@JohnnytNaturalit’s the same as the idling ones. The city of NY will pay you a percentage of truck/buses idling ticket. You record a video showing the plate, the company or owner/operator and the vehicle with the engine running and send it to their website. Last time I checked, it was 30% of the fine which was $1000. Only thing it is safer, because you don’t have to write a paper ticket and hand it over, just video and be gone.
@JohnnytNaturalI don’t mind giving citizens the power to do this, but it needs to be modified. Even the most honest of citizen breaks the law all throughout the day. Jaywalking. Driving 34 in a 30. If a cop did nothing but follow you all day, every day, 24/7, you basically wouldn’t be able to breathe without breaking some law. What would I prefer? Ok, someone made a noise complaint against you. The first time, it should be a warning. And, no other noise complaints should be able to be made against you for two weeks. This allows the business a chance to actually see the fine and correct things. After two weeks, if things haven’t improved, the citizen should be able to complain again and that time, it’s a fine, because at that point, you’re saying I have no intention of complying. But if they stop, you’ve achieved your goal without squashing a small business. Remember, businesses were squeezed til death during the pandemic. If we essentially tell people that it’s not economically sound to start a business, we all suffer.

It is weird. But, if the businesses are actually playing music too loudly or at inappropriate times, it adds too much stress to life in NYC. If a business gets a ticket, that is supposed to be a deterrent, to stop them from doing it again. The simplest solution is: reduce the noise level, and if they are not making too much noise, just take it to court. If they are in the right, then perhaps he won't harass them. The news story is obviously motivated by a business group. Citizens who live in the neighborhood were not interviewed, nor any citizens' group. It's like the quotes from one-sided news stories about questionable police actions, "the police department said, the man attacked the officer and resisted arrest" Interview the man also. The corporation said that they are not polluting, or that their products are safe. Interview the consumers who say they were made sick. It's super cool that this obsessed guy helps reduce the crazy noise level in the city. Hopefully others will join! Next, a way to ticket the motorcycles! Go for it!
9pm should be the hard cut off for loud music in residential areas. I prefer 7pm. But 9pm is ok. Sometimes the music is so loud you can't focus, especially if you live near a bar. Or someone is having a party. Usually the people playing the music could care less about their neighbors to be honest. So the ticket should be issued by cops only but neighbors should be able to attach themselves to the ticket anonymously so they can get paid a part of the fine.
@@mysteriousjz Your statement is completely false. There are places in the middle of NYC that doesn't blast loud music all day. It's all about culture. Period. Some people just don't blast loud music. But as that culture spreads, it shouldn't be up to other residents to issue noise complaints. It can be dangerous. A fatal incident just happened in Harlem. It's all about culture, not skin.
@@TheRm65 Ok, it seems like your comment is saying cops would take advantage somehow. But my main point is, let the cops issue the ticket, let the residents benefit from the fine anonymously. The goal is to reduce conflict between residents which is known to turn violent in NYC. Look at the subway slashings. Even jury duty can be dangerous as they can be followed by the defendants associates. Anyway, I'm stupid, but not completely wrong. In this current environment, New Yorkers shouldn't confront each other. It's fatal for a lot of people and those victims are often forgotten. I listened to a podcast today and the host was laughing at a lady who used airtags to find the guys who stole her car. They deleted her. The guys that deleted her don't care and they never will. Americans and residents who just mind their business need to realize that. It's either willful ignorance or naivety. Or just complete hatred for people who look different that they really don't want to help, even if they say they are allies. Knowing the facts, they just let them hang themselves. It's sad to see. Local and federal law makers need to be proactive to protect citizens and residents to reduce the amount of violence that's happening here. There is complete abandonment except for election season where they pretend to care.

The corporation said that they are not polluting, or that their products are safe. Interview the consumers who say they were made sick.
It's super cool that this obsessed guy helps reduce the crazy noise level in the city.
Hopefully others will join! Next, a way to ticket the motorcycles! Go for it!
Wow what a scam artist.
Then you shouldn't be living in urban areas. Get a Schack in some wilderness somewhere
People may hate but I know how you feel had neighbors during the WEEKDAYS that played music till well into 2-3 am and I had to get up at 7 to work a 12 hour shift at a warehouse.
Shit was torture I could not wait to leave.
@surfntrucks
Blasting music is the least of your problems. From your comments, it is evident that you have a problem with people who don't subscribe to your "culture" and race.
Go to Washington heights lmao
this is a GREAT way to limit the noise in our cities, as long as there is proof in the event the business wants to dispute the violation. I WISH EVERY CITY HAD THIS IN PLACE!
I want to write tickets on bad drivers. I'd be a millionaire in a month. ❤
I want to write tickets on those extremely loud motorcycle drivers who constantly speed and weave in and out of traffic.
@@Danny451you'll have to catch em first Karen, good luck with that 😂.
Maybe just stop playing loud music for no reason?
Makes sense since noise is abundant in cities, why not harvest it for profit!
This guy about to get jumped 😂😂
That’s crazy, noise bounty-hunters. Scamming small business owners
No scam. Just idiots blaring music for no reason
They gain NOTHING by it being that loud
It’s not scamming, that’s called extortion.
@@user-f44hil126ylI no sir. Im sure your take is worse lol
@@39mack23actually agree with the other guy
Not a scam if the claim is verified in court.
Good idea, community quiet and peaceful
Come to the Bronx. It’s terrible!!! One bodega that has family members playing loud music in cars.
Someone tried to make me a ticket because my car alarm but got dismissed after I showed proof that my alarm doesn't go off for more than 1 minutes 😂😂😂
Dietmar Dietering.
Dude is German. It makes perfect sense that is he is the one issuing tickets for frivolous shit.
Stop making noise pollution and you won’t get fined.
All they have to do is not make a loud racket. Good on the bounty hunters. 👍👍👍thank you for your service.
Thanks for exposing them they’ll get robbed and beat up now lol
Im getting on my noise ticket grind first thing tomorrow

This man is a hero!
One word RAT!
Why is he not considered a scammer is it because of his color
I actually love this, STOP BLASTING MUSIC.
Where can i get a ticket book? Im trying to get a Lamborghini before the end of the summer.
“Ya wen could say so, yuhhh” 💅💅lmao😂😂

I lived in Corona for years. That sucker is loud as hell! You can’t walk the street without hearing a business owners blasting their speaker on the sidewalk.
Get that bag sir!
I am going to do this in los angeles .
How about giving residential/apartments a ticket especially we in San Francisco have house attached to neighbors (Sunset District).
😂 if anyone didn’t know, well now they know how to earn a quick buck.
i dont see a problem
I wonder if he's gonna run when he sees the loud illegal fireworks being loud barrage at night and people can't sleep they are setting the fireworks in the middle of the night.
Easy money.
Interesting and inspiring. But how does he enforce the fines and what if some violent owners beat him up?
They don't have the balls
You people in the comments don't get it he's just following the law why are they playing the song so loud?
Or having speakers in doorways pumping music out to the street which is against the law.
Yeah they complain about the guy but not the businesses breaking the city ordinances.
