    I'm totally inspired! Can't believe how easy this is. Think the addition of green chillies are going to be a hit with us.

    I was lucky enough to see you live at the Food Festival last year and met you afterwards when you signed your cookbook. Your demonstration was brilliant as is this curry, it’s my absolute favourite. Hope to see you back on TV soon😁💕

      Hi. Yes I've been watching the show in the past 3 weekends. I've also made the carrot halwa. I was born in Bradford and loved carrot halwa but wished I knew how to make it. Thanks to your creativity and tv show. I made it last weekend and I ate the whole dish myself. Irresistible 😋. Thank you

    This is one of my very favourite recipes! I've cooked it for guests who've complimented me, though I wish I could have claimed it as one of my own recipes! I was honest when I shared it, though. It freezes well, too.

    Hi Parveen the method you used to cook lamb bhuna is similar to the way western beef or lamb casserole is cooked jus put all the ingredients in a pot n slow cooked until its tender n cooked.No need to saute its really easy n saves a lot of time.
    Love to watch all your tv shows!👍

    Hello everybody- thank you for watching. I wrote this recipes before filming my show. The method is slightly different but still works. The Garam Masala mix contains black cardamom and cinnamon, so it is not essential to add the spice and fry off at the beginning of the recipes. However, the ‘bhun’ part of the recipes is exactly the same.

    Followed this recipe for last night's dinner, so easy, so tasty. After spending years following different recipes where I have found they over complicate the method and have far to much ingredients in the dish,
    this one is a belter.

    Hi Spice Queen 😉 after recording your series which was broadcast at silly time in UK I was inspired and my son has now brought me your book for my birthday present. Would you mind clarifying if I can use lamb on the bone and which part lamb is best for this recipe. Maybe it should have been mentioned in the book for us novice 😊

    • @parveenashraf677
      @parveenashraf677 3 роки тому

      Hello, yes, you can just use any part of the lamb, shoulder, neck or chops. The bone will really add flavour. Contact me on my Instagram ParveenTheSpiceQueen, and send me a message. Thanks, Parveen, x

      Mark Edney hey Mark, it is a different recipes but this is a simpler version for when I teach cooking, we had to Change the recipes slightly for TV but they both work equally as well and both taste delicious!

      For this recipes, use 5 to 6 tablespoons of ordinary vegetable oil, if you don’t like it oily, you can drain it off once it’s cooked. If you need more information email us on info@parveenashraf.com

    • @parveenashraf2386
      @parveenashraf2386 5 років тому +1

      Doktor Gee - the recipe on the show is slightly different.. it is not essential to add black cardamom and cinnamon at the beginning as the Garam Masala mix already has both these spices. This easy recipes also works. Give it a go.

      @@parveenashraf2386 I made the one from the show. I did add a little bit of cumin and also a squeeze of lemon juice as I like to finish my curries with citrus. Also I cooked it in a pressure cooker. Totally amazing taste and the meat was so tender. It was my first attempt at bhuning and I will be doing it again. Thanks and looking forward to the next show 🍽😀🍽
