The fact that you finished through the locs to the end is admirable. It takes so much patience to do this. Definetely looking forward to keeping up with your hair journey. 😍
Thank you so much❤️ I really didn’t realize how patient I really was until this, with everything in life. I’m looking forward to documenting my journey😊
My advice is to stay away from conditioner for at least a year. Braid and rubber band your hair in bundles to wash it. Leave them braided until it's fully dried to prevent bunching. Enjoy your journey because it will be different from everyone else's. Good luck and your hair is healthy and beautiful 😊
This is how i mini twist my hair. And i leave them in like a month or two and then take them down. I love the twists but i can commit to permanent. This looks gorgeous!
I'm doing that now haha. I've been consistently twisting my hair for the last month and a half. I wash my hair in twists, unravel, moisturize, detangle, then twist. One by one. So, my hair literally never leaves the style. Microlocs is the end goal for me but I can't commit just yet
Absolutely beautiful! I finished my 12 year old micro locs on 11/29/21. Her hair type is very similar to yours. VERY thick,, but not as long as yours...mid back, below bra length. I'm watching this video with her now.
🥰🥰 that means so much❤️ thank you! And hey y’all 👋🏽 thank y’all for watching. I have a feeling that my girls are going to grow up wanting locs too! Locs are perfect for hair like ours
You did an awesome job! You may find that you won’t really need products. I’m at the 6 month mark of my journey I’m surprised at how little I need hair products.
They look so beautiful!!! I had 456 Microlocs, cut them, and am back loc’d, but with wayyyy less 😂 I have 122 this time around! Can’t wait to see how your hair progresses!
Thank you so much❤️❤️ I’m posting a loc count video soon! I can HONESTLY see myself starting over at some point cause I’ve always changed my hair a lot. Thank you for watching 🥰
@@candimackall1823 yep I was ALWAYS wearing twists! And my hair shrunk quite a bit but not as much as my Afro. Straightened out it was almost tailbone and now it about bra strap length. I’m expecting it to shrink some more when it starts maturing. I’m also thinking that the color I put in it loosened my pattern a little bit. When are you starting yours? Are you doing them yourself?
I have 46 locs, past my shoulders. I tool out 2 and my hair is waist length. I'm thinking of taking them all out and getting microlocs. Imagine it taking me 13 days. Lol. I took out my 7 wicks before after 2 years and installed the 46 that I've had for a bit over 3 years now. 🤭😁😊
@@whomever2970 micro locs are so pretty but I maintain my own hair so I don’t know if I want to start over and micro locs are easy to start to bunch or break off and you have to keep a strict schedule on maintenance
Finally! A video that resembles my hair… long, natural, and tired of the drama so I’m starting locs! Love it! Good luck in your journey.
Thank you!!! I hope this video helps you❤️

Thanks for indirectly giving me advice for when I start mine😅
@@t.1103 No problem at all 😁
Do you moisturize with oil afterwards?
@@CinemaDoll137 I do. I use Taliah Waajid Healing Oyl on my scalp after I blow dry.
Good thing with the sizing is always start smaller than your intended goal because they’ll thicken up quite a bit in the first 6-12 months

U don’t seem to be having much shrinkage?! That’s good!

With the twist it would be easier to take out, they turned out nice😍, how many days it take to finish, it’s you having the patience for me!!!🥴💪🏽🥰

I bet they are beautiful ❤️ I actually wanted mine thicker. are you planning to cut and start over?
