One of my first 4runner upgrades were these fog pods (but pros) and couldn’t be happier. Driven through some thick fogs, snow and deep forest and they helped keep visual a ton.
I installed the Pros. Wasn't all that easy. I jacked up the truck, didn't remove the tire. Might have gained some room over leaving it on the ground. Never did get the cover completely off on the passenger side. Couldn't get the left side loose for the life of me. But was able to move it out of the way enough to get the light in. Beat my arms up pretty well trying to stuff them in there. But, it's done. I do love the higher intensity light
@@AdventureBuilt they are in!! I am VERY happy I did this, they made a big difference over the stock (2020) fog lights. Any suggestions on how to also make them turn on when the high beams are on?
How can you leave that gap to angle the lights down when it's tightened. In other words, what makes it maintain the gap, does it have an adjustment screw, a washer, a wedge or what..??
I’m sorry if my response was short. Basically when you install the lights they will sit flush in the light bucket. The only way you won’t have a gap is if you inserted the lights from the bottom and pushed the light past where it wants to go the create the gap. The lights are made to mount and have the gap. Some people will see the gap and assume that it’s wrong and press the lights past where it should go to get rid of the gap. That was what that was referring to. I apologize if it wasn’t super clear in the video. Hope this helps.

They are definitely a worthy upgrade!!!

I was just freaking out because the light was not flush with the plastic. Thanks for the tip.
Pro tip #4- Remove the front bumper facia and do your light removal and install on a bench. Made my life easier and less painful.
Good call.
Do these lights need to be aligned? How is this done?
There were perfectly aligned when we installed them but I think there is a small adjustment you can make of need be.
@@AdventureBuilt Thank you. Mine arrive tomorrow! Next, I “need” to upgrade the head lights :)

The lights actually sit in the tabs flush at the correct angle.

Great Job Trevor! Still have the Titan? Any build plans for that?
Titan is still a work in progress. Not sure of the direction yet. Thx for watching.
Pros or sports?
Sports, the Pros are very expensive.
How bright are they? Brighter than the led bulbs? I am torn between the pros and sports. The pros almost seem to bright for everyday driving
