2:28 sorry to say but there were marathas in tanjavur before shivaji maharaj's campaign. Shahaji maharaj was much influential in South India and the son of his second wife Vyankoji (Ekoji) captured tanjavur before shivaji's expedition. His descendants ruled Tanjavur while shivaji's descendants ruled swaraj.
