I just discovered this cover. Awesome. The translation was great, voice was amazing, and thank you for liking IU. I first found out about her with this song (when it came out) and then she came out in Dream High. I'm glad she became successful after a hard childhood (even though she was very young when she debuted). If you haven't already check out Last Fantasy which is an amazing album. Bye. God bless.

...Maybe you're thinking of an arpeggio? Because an octave is just 8 notes higher than the note being used. So say I play middle C, and octave of that is 8 notes away which is also C. So when people say she's singing 3 octaves, she's singing 3 notes that are each 8 notes away from each other. :)
