Got mine done today. Thanks! your video was very helpful! Also would like to say for an NB1 I was able to get my SRS Airbag light to go away with 1x 3.3 ohm resistor.
I use nrg quick release "ding" but sometimes when i put the steer in, the horn is stuck then i have to put it off to remove the sound. Do you have any way to solve this problem?
@@dapetdetective I have an airbag light on and I'm looking to do a quick release to get rid of the issue. I was wondering if I'm gonna have to take my hands off the steering wheel to reach the stalks. It looks like there is no middle ground with this issue.
@@mihaiserbanescu8676 honestly I just had to reach a tad more than comfortable but if you run no quick release or also a flatter wheel, no issues there!
I just tried to put my steering wheel on and looking at your video what I did with the horn was cut the green connector off and make a wire and attach it using a quick disconnect as power am I wrong and the green wire is ground and the wire inside the hub will connect to the button and work
So the shift knob actually comes with the entire IRP shifter assembly sadly and apparently VERY hard to remove haha not even sure if it’s possible without damaging the finish. The install and links to check them out are actually in my previous video, IRP Shifter install!
@@jake-jl6gx Haha I love it man! Lemme link it to give you an idea! It’s actually like a normal shifter, nothing fancy, mounted to the stock shifter housing atop the transmission. Here’s the vid: ua-cam.com/video/ZtTz_LzNpbo/v-deo.html
How much torque for the center nut? I tried to find some figures but no luck. Installing my wheel in a few days. Thank you so much for explaining everything so well in your video love it 🙌🙌
Thank you so much and for watching! Glad ai could help. So I found 36 ft-lbs floating around as spec but personal I feel better a bit higher so maybe 40-50 ft lbs to be safe? Just be careful with some lower quality hubs being probe to cracking from over torque. But I’ve never had issues with my Momo hub in any vehicle I’ve had.
@@dapetdetective thank you so much, I've got a luisi mirage wheel and hub so really good quality, will probably use 40 and if it feels not enough might as well use a bit more. Looking forward to new videos of yours. 🙌🙌
You saved me on my annoyance for my keys horn button, thank you

Suoer glad I was able to help! My main goal with these vids haha. And cool deal I appreciate the note! Hope you enjoy the new setup 🤘
thanks this helped me un-mod my steering wheel and go back to stock, seeing all the connector locations and factory routing 👍
No problem! Thanks for checking it out!! Glad I could help 🙏.
Nice video! I'm wondering though, did turning the prongs you show at 7:18 by 90 degree to fit your hub affect the turn signal canceling mechanism?
Appreciate the words!! No issues at all, skip over to 20:23 and I show it working!
Only video of a nb I could find
Airbags blinking 6 times. Gotta check and see what’s going on
perfect video man
Thanks so much for checking it out man!!
Thank you so much for this!
Glad I could help!!
Did the hardware and Allen wrench you used to install the steering wheel come with the hub or your wheel?
The wheel hub does come with the hardware and wrench required but I bought the fancy blue color ones for aesthetics separately!

hello, would u be able to link a website to find that blue splice box thingy u used for the horn wire? awesome vid btw!
Hello! So I had that thing on hand in one of my electrical kits, but if you Amazon or Google “wire splice kit” or something similar it should come up!
Did all this make it awkward to reach the blinkers?
At first it’s odd for sure but I got used to it pretty quick!

@@dapetdetective I was thinking to get the NRG short boss kit. I hope that will bring it back a bit to OEM spec.
@@mihaiserbanescu8676 yeah that should work great and not much difference I’m sure
What ohm resistance were those resistors you installed. 19:32
Been a while but if I remember right, should be 2 3.3 ohm resistors!
@@dapetdetective thankyou!
