Not gonna lie, it's fascinating to learn about the backstory of the humble Little Tree air fresheners! I enjoyed this history video so much, Zack. Also, my fave scents would be Black Ice, New Car Scent and Royal Pine.
@Shooting Cars you should do a history video of car airbags (for collisions not suspension.) and the history of car EVAP systems. You’re one of my favourite UA-camrs and I’m nearly 16 years old with 2 cars and I love watching you, subscribed!
vanilla rama is part of the smell of a 75 dodge dart the other part is the vynal, the slight unburt gas and a tad of burning oil off the compromised valve guide seals. my favorite is new car smell
Educational on the origins of a business and a logo shape. The detailed history of the Shell gas station logo is of interest also. It was in a school book designed to show children how one can start out lowly and through hard work and perseverance become sucessful.
hehe. I personally don't care too much about air fresheners because I hate perfumes/colognes or scented products. I did, however, have a cinnamon heart hanging from the rearview for a while even after it stopped smelling of cinnamon. Don't think I want my car smelling like a wood chipper, though.
Ahh 2011!! I knew there was a point it went from "Car Freshner" to "Little Trees" I always liked the marketing misspelling of "freshener" that I miss it on the new ones. I usually buy them only when it's a fund-raiser at the local car wash, though. My favorite is "vanilla" or "coconut"
The trees are shaped such that you open the plastic wrapper a little at a time so you don't get blasted with scent that quickly fades. Open the wrapper just enough to let the tip and hanging loop stick out. When the scent fades, pull the wrapper down to the next wider set of "branches" and the wrapper will stay in that spot. Repeat until the wrapper is completely off.
Here's a thought.... Will some air freshener company come out with a SPEARMINT OR PEPPERMINT FRAGRANCE????? Rodents HATE that smell, but ppl enjoy it. Hence, killing two rodents with one stone... And NOT A SPRAY. THANK U!! 🤔🤓🇺🇸
Good Lookin' on the history. It's always kinda cool to learn about some of the most mundane things...like a How It's Made episode :D My favorite is Bourbon but why is it soo damn expensive when you try to order it online anywhere?!? It's the same price as all the others when you can find it in stores!!! Pisses me off!!!!!
I collect these! I have hundreds of different scents at least. I have some that date back to 1961, and yes, they still have scent! my favorite scent was Bouquet :)
These trees absolutely do nothing. I also much prefer the smell of a clean leather interior than them, I just can’t understand how people actually smell little trees for more than 2 minutes after using it.
I really like these mini-docs. They're short, sweet, to the point, and are fun little watches.

New car smell, because spending a few bucks every once in a while is a lot cheaper than spending $30K+ just to get the new car smell.
Are you sure?
@@new2000carno no are you sure ?

The New Car Scent makes me think of when I was 15 and drove a little sky blue Hyundai Excel. It brings back memories.
New car and Black ice do that for me as well! Staples in every high schoolers car.
True north is such an underrated scent. Wintery Canadian pine. Way better than black ice and I’ll die on that hill

Barbershop 💈 little trees. Like a daily shave.
vanilla rama is part of the smell of a 75 dodge dart the other part is the vynal, the slight unburt gas and a tad of burning oil off the compromised valve guide seals.
my favorite is new car smell
Little trees were 1000 times stronger back in the 90s early 2000s. You could almost taste the strawberry scent it was so in your face.
DeWitt is only a 23 minute drive from where I live. Driven the Little Trees factory many times on the way to Clinton, IA.
Moroccan Mint Tea is easily the best scent
I had an old Vanilla scented one hanging from a desk lamp in 1999, while we played Gran Turismo 2 with a wheel with my friend xD

New Carson second black guys and Royal pine
Cops call a bunch of little trees on the mirror The Felony Forest
Vanillaroma
0:20 this is very questionable in my opinion 😉
black ice gang
I love your mini documentaries. Can do without the q dog whistle about a fashion brand for fools, tho
If you're always hearing dog whistles, you might be a dog. He was just reporting on something they did.

Gotta stay away from the felony forest! When you see a car with a ton of little trees, they're up to no good.

Dang. You learn something new every day
So basically you save a lot of money and efficiently have these last for weeks for one little tree
Perhaps you can do a video essay on the little wipers that were on headlights.
Another one could be the door mounted number pads.
I also am a huge fan on black ice and new car but as of late I find myself way more a fan of true north , vanillaorama, and morning fresh
Here's a thought.... Will some air freshener company come out with a SPEARMINT OR PEPPERMINT FRAGRANCE????? Rodents HATE that smell, but ppl enjoy it. Hence, killing two rodents with one stone... And NOT A SPRAY. THANK U!! 🤔🤓🇺🇸
mint smelling wunderbaum is my go to for my daily
Little Trees did have Spearmint and Peppermint as scents at one time… both are discontinued now however :(
My favorite for years has been Black Ice!
Awesome video
Have to say my favorite is Royal Pine, nothing else will do. Oddly, it’s one of the hardest to find in stores.
My favourite scent is not a one! Those damn things smell so strong they always trigger sinus headaches for me! UGH!
Yeah it's either that or just not smelling anything at all
My firewood hauling truck is constantly covered with Douglas Fir.. 😁👍
DOUGLAS FIR & ROYAL PINE!!! INTERESTING HISTORY!

True North is very refreshing. Especially because I like camping😂
Only scent of Little Trees I like is the classic, Royal Pine. Smells great, but just looks right as well.
Hmm I just had this idea of searching this and well gotta be coincidence that you made it 12 hours ago and I found his video lol love the video

I am a fan of the Royal Pine scent. Every time I smell it I remember being a kid and seeing the Little Tree dangling from the rear view mirror. 😊
They should make a sent that smells like old farm shop floor on a 40 above day that takes me back to the good ol days
why was balenciaga a callobator with Francisco Franco?
These trees absolutely do nothing.
