The Weebill S feels heavier, because you are lifting it with your left hand Peter, which, if you are right handed, objects may appear to feel heavier, when supported by your left . . . ?
Hi, thanks for clarifying the importance of how usable the Weebill S is compared to the Crane. So, I have an important question I hope you can help with...I will be buying the Weebill S, but am not sure if I should get the follow focus and the image transmitter. I'm a one-person crew, trying to keep gadgets and weight to a minimum, but will get these if you feel they are necessary. I want to use my Iphone as a monitor if needed and my camera is the Sony A6600 with a number of zooms. I'm so impressed with your reviews-you seem to have such a high ethical standard as a professional (it comes across in your reviews). Thanks, again, and thanks for any thoughts on the add-ons of image transmission and follow focus.
ur review is good but please don;t use intro sound like 3:59 all the time that sound is so annoying and makes me feel i dont want to watch the last part dont use that sound too much. thanks for the review
I just bought the Crane 2s. My LG Stylo 4 is not compatible with ZY Play so I cannot activate my gimbal. Other than activation, what all will ZY Play be required for with the Crane 2s?
Great video again Peter , I bought my weebill s last year on ur recommendation, love it sadly not had chance to use it much this year due to the virus , hopefully get good use next year , love the videos cheers 👍😎
I guess that to put the Crane 2S in under slung mode you will have to buy a handle and how would it attach? I saw on the side of it that it has 1/4 20 holes.
Daniel M. Serrano there are options for a handle for underslung mode. I would just use the side handle when shooting in underslung. We will probably soon see other handle options for the Crane 2s.
, I already have a Weebill s and a different camera , but buying a Blackmagic 6k and mostly use a tonika 11-16 mm lens , do you think the Weebill s will work ? Or do I need the crane 2s ?
Quick question because i have a wedding this Saturday... What lens do you typically use on a gimbals at a wedding? I have a prime 50mm f1.8 and the Sigma 17-50mm 2.8. Not sure what lens to put on the gimbal.
I would put the sigma 17-50mm. When i shoot weddings and use my gh5 i have the 10-25mm (20-50) on. This give me some flexibility and i can use that lens the most of the day.
@@PeterMakholm Thanks so much for your advice! I appreciate you writing back. It speaks volumes about your integrity. Keep up the excellent work! Best wishes.
Gabo Guerra yeah that is a great video to do but I might already know the answer to this one because the crane 2S has been made with the black magic pocket cinema cameras in mind, so therefore the crane 2S works perfectly with the black magic cameras. where the crane 3S even though it can take big cameras it it is not made for the black magic cameras and the weight distribution does not match the way the crane 3S works.
I ordered a Canon 800/for my R5/with grip . Can you recommend Gimbal? I will be doing video For CG on a boat and need to have some kind of support... help? I want to do an excellent job for the USCG but I am and always will consider myself an armature.
Thanks, Peter for your thorough review! So, I see from your response that the Crane 2s is smoother in its footage than the weebill S. That's disappointing to me, because I can't carry a big gimbal with me when I travel. I look forward to hearing more about this.
Yeah, the performance of the crane 2s is better than the Weebill s. But with that said I still use my weebill s mostly. because of it small size and how easy it is to pack down. Just practice your gimbal moves and with post production it looks amazing any way.
What camera and frame rate, shutter peed did you use? This is so perfect than others I've ever seen. Motion movement of the subject feel like film without jitter.
Hello Peter, first of all thanks for your sharing. I was looking to buy a Ronin RS2 and figured out that he wont be good for the BCC6K and I found your channel so valuable. I have question tho, the Weebill S is way cheaper than the Crane 2s so I would like to know if it will be ok for the BCC6K or if it's a no brainer , because I saw some nice Shot with the Weebill S a soon as the counter weight are properly set. In the main time I still see some guys struggling with the Crane S2 and have jerky shots so am not sure how much their is difference in term of stabilization ? Thank you
What did you get , I already have a Weebill s and a different camera , but buying a Blackmagic 6k and mostly use a tonika 11-16 mm lens , do you think the Weebill s will work ? Or do I need the crane 2s ?
Great video, I have a canon eos rp & rf35 lens, what would you reccomend? I also do travel a fair bit, but I want something that easy to use/set up. Thank you :)
Does your weebill s ever have horizon drift after a pan? Then it slowly levels out again after 5-10 seconds. Mine does this all the time and it’s making me want to get rid of it
It compends on what RED you are shooting on and what accessories you have on it. The Crane 2s can handle the weight, but for a RED, I would use a MOVI PRO or GLIDECAM.
Hi Peter the question i would like to ask in term of the footage is the crane 2s a lot smother less micro jitters and would it be a upgrade from the weebil?
Hi Peter, I'll buy my first gimbal to my Canon SL2, Im between Zhiyun WEEBILL-S ($424) and FeiyuTech AK2000($352.10), can you help me to take the decision? or what other can I considerer. Zhiyun Crane 2 costing $625... :/ Greetings

why the back motor of the gimbal is not obstructing the lcd monitor of the camera? In all the other Crane 2s videos, it does....
Rémi Pinaud Its because you can add an extension that moves the motor up and blocls the view.

What is the difference between the Zhiyun Weebill S and the Zhiyun Filmtacy C1??

The weebill-s trigger definitely wins though, that Crane 2S trigger is rather odd
Yeah, the trigger is not as easy to find as on the weebill s.
