as for the edit on release thing if u bind a secondary u place build button to right click you can place a build immediately after editing which is alot better than having the setting off

A workaround I use for the first tip is I have build on right click and select edit on right, really nice but there is a bug when you edit and swap to shotgun you automatically ADS which is the only downside
You can do the edit on release off thing by just confirming your edit by clicking the bind again instead of letting go of your left click. You do the exact same thing as you would with edit on release off but obviously you have it turned on

I think you can do the first thing with eor on too if you just hokd the left button and press your edit button again like in eor off (might be wrong)

You can do immediate builds with edit on release, you just keep holding click and confirm edit with edit button instead of releading
