I thought this was easy enough but when I tried to remove the battery the fob sprung into about seven pieces. I couldn't re-assemble it because I didn't know where everything belonged as it had sprung apart. I had to take the pieces to Classic Honda and a fellow there re-assembled it in jig time. Thanks Classic Honda!
These are also the CORRECT instructions for the replacing the battery in the 2015 CR-V key fob. Thank you so much!!! Please note that another video with instructions for the 2013, 2014 and 2015 CR-V does NOT work for the 2015.
Joey, I mean setting alarm. I just watched another video though and I'm pretty sure I accidentally bumped my trunk button this morning so I bet trunk is open. Contacting security right now to have them go close it.

Absolutely! I'm 99% positive that will fix the issue, it makes sense; can't set the alarm if any portion of the car is "open." :) Thanks for the helpful videos though!
Definitely an option, thanks for sharing! The link I have in the description was the best option I could find on amazon for the CR2032 3V. I hope this video helped you too!
You are an angel. Thank you for taking the time to do this.
My pleasure, glad it helped!
Thank you! Great tip on using the key to pry open the plastic faces.

When you shot video with a smartphone turn it horizontal before you start. The vertical does not work at all.
If you watch the video on your phone it is better. Sorry this video didn’t help.
Do you need to reprogram the fob after changing the battery?
no
You do not, it will immediately begin working
Huge shout out to the garlic bread for the moral support!
Haha, it's always there when you need it most!
Perfect!

Wasn't the battery put in upside down?
No, the way the battery is inserted in the video is correct. Thanks!
Thanks!
Frédéric Fournier you’re welcome
Got low battery message and I put the battery from my unused fob and it still says low battery what the.
Try a new set of batteries, they’re very cheap
Thanks
No problem.
Does anyone know what the key inside the fob is for???
Ricardo, great question. That key opens your door if the fob battery dies and you can’t unlock the car with your fob.
Anybody else have an amber looking bulb wedged between next to the key release switch on the back? I can’t execute the first set of removing the key
Sorry I haven’t encountered that, What car do you have?
How often do you change your battery?
I have to change mines every 20 years
Once every 1-2 years I believe.
Hard to see what your doing as focus is off the screen.
You're right, I need to re-record a new video of this. Thanks for your comment!
anyone have an issue with key fob locking car but not "arming" car?
