Long time listener first time caller- woop woop to Barrhill Blooms! Look forward to seeing your flowers Sarah, I'm going to try grow ranunculus from seed too in late summer. From fellow NZer- Ferndale Flowers NZ
Most gardeners have been cleaning out beds and replanting hardy annuals or cover crops, but it’s a slow process when we’re not young and robust. Still it will get done as we plan for next 0:06 spring. Glad your farm recovered. The climate changes have us all spooked. A UA-cam channel you might like is Regenerative Gardening as Bri shares your passion for soil improvement.
Looking forward to seeing the workshop. Will you be keeping your lovely shipping shipping container studio? It is so beautiful, and I enjoyed the series featuring that build.
Oh it was nice to see you grew zinnias in your polytunnel. I'm trying that this summer in Australia and was concerned they might be prone to fungal attacks in there... Very nice video !
Hi Sarah, I've followed you for a while and really enjoy your videos. In a previous video you mentioned an up facing sunflower but I have not been able to source any seeds. I want to grow them in my garden as cut flowers and think they would be wonderful. Can you share where you found the seeds.? Regards Kim
It looks like you’ve had a really good year after the ups and downs at the start. Can I ask, what do you do for slug control? I’m too scared to put my little hardly annuals out as my larkspur has already been mown down by the molluscs!
Will ranunculus grown from seed stay short the first year, then grow to full maturity height the second or third year? Think I heard that somewhere but maybe it’s not the case?
All looking good! Here’s to an amazing ‘25
