I had 37x12.5 TRXUS MT on my 2010 Rubicon. Fit with just a 2.5" lift. Awesome tire for highway and off road. Was smooth and quiet at 75 on the highway. And slung the mud in the park.
Appearance wise, both are nice. The real questions are: ride quality. Which setup handles better, better for both on-road and off-road applications, daily driving, etc? Price differences? If you tow, how does each setup handle towing? Payload?
Those trucks look incredible. I've never like the trucks looked lifted any higher than 3-4 inches, but the way the wheel wells are cut on the new Tundra's this stance is perfect. If I only had $60-70k to spend on a truck.
For me why does this lifted look like a stock f150?? Whenever I looked up lifted f150 I can see a big change but I’m looking at this and it looks small?
@@iamjstew___4473 ram trucks also don’t look as lifted with a 6”. I think it’s the wheel well shape and overall style of the truck. I have a friends with a 6” lift and 37’s on his Ram. It doesn’t look nearly as tall as a similar Chevy or Ford with 6” lift
Yall both have some sweet trucks fellas it doesn't even matter that they are V6 I saw one a while ago in that dark green Toyota has it looked sweet too as much as I love the 2021 and bellow I really like the new ones I have a lifted 2018 chevy silverado with 6.5 RC and 1.5 level make it an 8 on 35 Toyo open county A/Ts I should of got 37s but at that time I didn't know much about tires so I saw that another guy had 35s on his so I followed
I'm not a bracket/body lift person. I suppose that's why there is something out there for everyone's use case and taste. My rig is specifically modded for extreme off-road. My preferred profile is a pure suspension lift at 3"/1" on Mickey Thompson BAJA M/T 37/12.50/R17 of course on 17" wheels as the tire size stated. I have 14" of ground clearance with my set up. Most people aren't using their trucks the way my groups use ours.
When they first came out I thought they looked like a giant carp with that big mouth front end, but they're starting to grow on me. But I'll keep mine stock.
Beautiful rigs guys. I took a chance and installed a rough country 4.5” loft in my brand new 2016 F-250 and I soon found out what a POS their lift was. Went through 3 pairs of their shocks within the first 6 months then got so frustrated I ended up spending money and out Bilsteins on it and so many other quality issues with RC. Fool me once.
I want to get the pro comp for my 22 tundra, but I don’t want the trim the front bumper. Wondering if using my stock 20” wheels w/ 35” Toyos would still require trimming being that he put 37s on his. Does he have a channel or Twitter?
Hey guys. Sick trucks. I am actually looking at a used, lifted (6-inch) Capstone right now. Quick question, I assume the lift voids the factory warranty? How do you deal with that? Buy one?
Nice truck i recently lifted my truck i have a 1794 with the 6in kit i have issues with all safety features like blind. Spot monitoring and also abs light ect did you experience any of these issues
I’ve the 2023 1794 with the air suspension system. My question is, if I put this 6” lift kit on which I want to, will it void the warranty and also, can this cause any issues with the differential or driving? Oh and I’m keeping 33x12.50R20
You think 37s on a full size pick up is enough to go rock crawling? 😂 You either don't know what it takes to play in the rocks or you think a gravel road is rock crawling. 😂😂
Your trucks look really good. Your mods made the basic ugly new Tundra look great. Did you guys have the turbo waste gate problem? Do you have front and rear lockers and front sway bar disconnect?
IMO those 6 inch lifts that make the subframe even lower are kinda stupid for off roading.. The 37's are the only thing helping here, you could achieve a lot more with smaller tires, and a proper long travel..

looks good particularly the grey one but also very unstable at the end and therefore kind of dumb - you need much less lift or a much wider track and truck!!! doesn't look functional - is that what people mean by "grocery getter vibe"?
Looks does nothing to performance or ride quality of the trucks! Such an expensive new Tundra to downgrade from the factory set up....love the trucks just not a fan of useless suspension lift kits! 👍
Love video . Owner of the blue truck - you keep cutting the other guy off when he is talking , please show love :)
Blue truck owner loves to hear his voice... other guy can't even get a word in.

Damn, one minute ago. Appreciate the more consistent uploads mark.
I have struggled with the Tundras looks. But holly cows… when lifted it takes me back to my childhood playing with toy trucks and they look great

Nice looking trucks. With the 37s did you guys re-gear? How are the shift points?

Any inside scoop on when either lift kit will come out for the models with the AVS??

Does this effect the smoothness of the drive?
Great video
perfect for the Costco gas pump speed bump.
What MPG are you guys getting? Is it the same as the V8 after doing the lift and tires?
Looks great! Does anything have to be cut to install this kit?
Had to cut that metal piece the points off the frame out and some trimming on my side skirt
Its called a crash bar and its there to keep that 37 from crushing feet in a crash
Why does the pro comp truck look 1-2" higher? 🤔 is there a difference that much or is it a color illusion?
Best looking setup is definitely 6” with the 37s.
🤙🤙
Did you guys install new gears to offset the taller tires?

What are those rims called and also great video 🤙🏽
Yo are these the crewmax 5.5 or 6.5? Also which TRD Packages?
Nice trucks for sure but just not even close to being as tough as the second and third gen, hopefully Toyota brings back the 5.7 in the near future
Will you post some videos of actually using these off road and rock crawl or just mall crawl?

Are these regular SR5 or off road package?
Which one has the hybrid engine to support the extra weight from the tires and lift?!😂
Anyone have any idea when that white gates gonna open so we can drive past the cabins? or at least what’s left of them lol
How’s the 6” RC lift holding up?
Did you guys do axle gears?
How much did gas change? I want to do this to my truck
Are there any wiring kits or would it be plug and play to do trd headlights on your truck
Wish I knew
it looks cool but they’re something about the body frame of the new tundra that still looks off
what was the price difference on both lifts ?
You guys do any gearing changes ?

Anyone have any idea where a guy could purchase wheel adapters for 2022 tundra to make the last Gen Tundra wheels fit. ?
Any off-road articulation tests in the future?
Lol

get it muddy
I want this in france !! :(((((
Two luck good I like my TRX good
need lift kit and tire wheel info
What trims are these tundras?
Hi, is it possible if they can lift the tundra capstone?
No and dont buy that shit. People already having airbag issues
Even on 37’s the grocery getter vibe is hard to cover up.
😂😂 that was actually funny
Built Jeeps that never go off road are called Mall Krawlers.
A Tacoma in 37's that never goes offroad could be called a Taco Stand?
Let’s be real. How many lifted/leveled trucks that are mall crawlers ? A lot. 90% +

Baja designs website
Yeah but why get the strut spacer version of the lifts... the lifted struts aren't that much more
Will never see mud.. all show and no go!
PRO COMP ALL DAY
Are tundras getting more than 12-14mpg before the lift? There gas mileage is so bad. There's no excuse for it.
Id go for the RC 100%. i dont wanna chop anything.

If you're looking for a truck just to have great MPG, I don't think you're looking at the right vehicle to drive.

I would never put anything rough country on my truck.
Why’s that?

No need, mall parking blocks aren't getting these trucks stuck anywhere!
