It's not a rally car it's a dirt oval car there only ment to turn left that's why he's having trouble seting it up because there not built square there frames are bent on purpose

No it’s not. The standard model is nowhere near a rally car. I’ve had 2. Parts are hard to find and gearbox is trash

They were never competitive in the WRC. They were nose heavy and self destructed on the jumps and were discontinued...

You should 100% buy an STI hatchback, they are very commonly use for professional rally drivers in Norway, where rally is just perfect. You can basically use stock setup, only need suspension, weight reduction and cage etc. And buy parts from Martin schanche and you'll be golden.

I am so keen for proper rally content. Rally drivers are the most insane drivers on earth. Hands down. My old man rallied a rx3 and rx7 off road would you believe. Wild stuff.

That car has so much history in hillclimb, the original owner Alex is an awesome guy and has done a few really interesting 80-90s era racecar builds. It's so cool to see this car getting some time in the spotlight because it's beginning to feel like one of those lost legends...

@@TheSaw410 Exactly ! The idea behind the Safari GTR was also to build something out of the ordinary. And now he wants to build a subaru which is the most common rally car.
I have a 2002 WRX in blaze yellow that has been parked for years that I'm willing to part ways with. Stock car, not running. Car is complete and a bunch of extra parts. I did not even finish watching the whole video. YES! Buy the Pleasurer Evo and do a lap with it at the compound LOL. I'm a huge fan of time attack and some of my favorite videos of yours are at the track with the Evo V and Gt350 (before it caught fire at said track lol). Tommy is a genius for sending you the car to let it speak for itself instead of selling you on it. 😂😂

I've been waiting for more Subaru content since Connecticut. Then again when you were learning to 4 wheel drive drift. So stoked to see what you purchase. Hoping for a Hawkeye build. Either way a deep dive into a few technical videos on exactly what needs to be converted so we learn as you learn for those who don't know would be sweet!

4:07 this is probably the most realistic look of what Adam would look like when you saw him IRL and it's kinda inspirational ngl. The posture completely resembles him without him even having to say a word
The OGs know the Pleasure Evo kept popping couplers at Lime Rock during his Gridlife laps. I even got to see it happen once or twice in person.
Corner balanced, steering actually dialed in and the bushing felt with so it's not a sloppy mess!!!! Some grippy tires that inspire confidence with the other fixes and you actually having seat time, I can see this car being damn near the fastest you can be at the compound for such little horsepower!!! I would say efi and turbo the motor but that chassis is too sketch for anymore horsepower than you already run lol
Go for a Rwd Rally car youd love it. Ive been telling you for years youd love rallying 😁🤙 Thats why we build tarmac rally cars and gravel rally cars as separate cars basically. Gravel is really hard on a car .
Rally, this was us country boys past time in texas on dirt back roads, going back roading had a different meaning for us. Take a sh*tbox and drive the wheels off it on dirt.

Don't forget to warm up the tires with a couple laps and drain those fuel bowls when it sits! The fuel bowls are vented to allow atmospheric pressure to push fuel in(fuel pump only fills the bowls). Some top end lube may help but straight non-ethanol gasoline would be better.

the art around the compound adds a touch too it, something even as full renovation with all new concrete etc cant do it. makes it more unique and people will know its your compound in clips and random photoshoots.
