Only this game does a disservice to ancient Caledonians, when Agricola invaded Scotland he had Germanic Tungri and Batavi soldiers with him to fight the Celtic warriors of Scotland, and they had chariots, and didn't were animals skins, this game needs to be redone.

As the empire at the time was ruled by the senate, it was classed as the Republic of Rome. Some misconceptions about the game that should be known. 1. The Picts in Scotland actually fought naked and were super fast so most Roman infantry couldn’t even fight in hand to hand combat with them. 2 . The Picts are the only few tribes to outright win against the Romans. The romans were even scared to invade Scotland because they knew the Picts would just slaughter them, and would do indescribable things to the pows.

The night battles halfway through this game were the best part imo.
