for real, concept cars all looks the same since 2000. Wierd single brake light going all across the back of the car with bodywork molding over or under or both of it, incredibly minimalist interior with weird console panel arcing from the dashboard to the front row seat if it doesnt go all across the car, which then brings the nowhere to be found safety features and most importantly, lambo/gull wing doors. For real if you get in a head to head crash with those concepts vehicule, you only get that 1 inch wide Frisbee dashboard to stop your momentum. Stupid design
I love the simplicity of these Motorshow Top Gear videos, no stupid music or fancy camera angles... They remind me of the old early 90's top gear Motorshow specials. 👍
Not shocked that there's this many SUVs coming out. I am not an SUV person, but that doesn't mean other people are not. Maybe, one day I'll have a need for an SUV. (:
They gotta evolve with time. After the 3 men left top gear. All these Car UA-camrs grew exponentially. Now they have so much attention of the car world it's stupid not to target that market.
Porsche Cayenne number 1 seller until it was replaced by thenumber 1, Porsche Macan. The Macan is even putting up better sales numbers than the Cayenne ever did. Does the world need a high performance suv. the world has been saying yes for a while.
I would love to see a lot more concept ideas make it into cars. We have so many regulations forcing manufacturers to tone everything down. Not so sure about that bright orange though. Lol
Love the look of the Alpha. I’ll never even get close to being able to afford the Lagonda or the Bentley. The Cupra doesn’t float my boat and I’d just buy a Golf R over the VW thing. The Alpha though, I’d have that over it’s German rivals any day of the week.
The Stelvio Quadrifoglio has a version that does 0-60 in less than 4 seconds, if that floats your boat. It's expensive, but looks and sounds very nice.
I liked your video until you said the T Roc R is not necessary. It is the perfect mix of performance and practicality. What a beautiful car I wish they brought it to the US.
The Tonale concept from Alfa Romeo looks pretty but unfortunately looks to be based on either the Jeep compass or renegade platform. Just when they make an award winning Giorgio platform that's all-new and brilliant (for the Giulia/stelvio), they're reverting back to rebadged FCA junkers.
Mid-engined twin -turbo V6 for the new Alfa Romeo 8C? Sounds like it's going to be based on the upcoming Ferrari Dino. Intrigued to see which one will be better looking. No doubt which one is going to be faster though.
Great video Top Gear. The very first S.U.V looked very spacious and I might be able to fit into it 'cause I'm 6'4 172-176lbs. It looks so simple with a modern technological designs. I'm not so much of a S.U.V person, I'm more of a sporty car person when I have my own money to buy my first car in the future.
The Lagonda SUV certainly deserves praise for such an innovative design. Rolls Royce and Bentley should be ashamed of bringing out such a mundane design for their respective SUVs!
Why is the Cupra so different to the T-Roc R !? a minute later he asks why we need cars like this, but its still the same concept. both are sporty SUVs!
7:21 STOP CALLING SUV'S A TREND. IT'S CARS THAT ARE WRONGFULLY PROPORTIONED; THE LOW SLUNG CAR IS A BAD DESIGN! IT'S ONLY TAKING THE INDUSTRY 100+ YRS TO GET UTILITY/FUNCTIONALITY RIGHT...
Well, electric motors = instant torque and more importantly, manageable torque through variable speed management systems Instead of having locking a differential and a motor that relies combustion, rotational speed etc, it’s instantaneous So potentials are limitless when it comes to the right manufacturer Granted..... Lagonda isn’t the company you think of, when it does come to off reading But if the technology evolves, in the hands of people that do know a thing or two about off-roading i.e. Range Rover, Jeep, Mercedes, Ford, it could potentially revolutionize electric off-roading
*Nice presentation. *Nice shoes.. match the hair. *Alfa Romeo is really underrated as a brand! All European cars have reliability issues, AR gets so much more blame than deserved, especially considering how beautiful well balanced cars it produces and how historic the brand is. * Does Lagonda have a button to hide the wheels and float? Would be more fitting, luxury ⛵..ugliness * I still can't get all the SUV trend and trust me neither AR does, a purely sports car oriented brand hates elevating the center of gravity, but it just has to follow and produce Stelvio and Tonale for the money. Maybe women love SUVs, created and maintain the trend, idk vision, high position, sense of safety... They were never particularly good at anything that has to do with cars. Still I would trust Stelvio or Tonale for keeping some sport character in driving and turning
Concepts are stupid because the production versions are never as cool
Porsche Carrera GT
2002 Ford GT Concept
Only few like Porsche keeps their concept design.Carrera GT ,918 Spyder concept etc
Isn´t the Jaguar F pretty much like the concept car was?
Listing off a few decent actual concepts still pales in comparison to the amount of actual models that sucked compared to their concepts
You know what I hate about motor shows? Concept cars!

Love that alfa romeo snake - plug logo

It’s interesting to see how the SUV is evolving in 2019, crazy concepts and some futuristic designs, thank you
That Bentayga Speed looks AMAZING
The first car is fabulous and gr8 engineering piece of art.... beautiful.
I'll never be able to unhear the term toenail when I think about that Alfa Romeo.
Good video this. I like the way this guy presents. Short, sharp and to the point. Well done.
Marvelous presentation
That Bentley 😍😍😍❤❤❤
Dont like the look of the Lagonda
DNICE41 it looks like those weird civilian cars in Halo or Futuristic call of duty
@@plasma9839 yeah a little too futuristic if such a thing is possible.
I don't like Top Gear any more.
DNICE41 yeah man way too futuristic . At least I am not someone who will like it . Not my taste
DNICE41
Yeah - imagine taking that thing off-road. Ridiculous.
James may; jezza, what u driving these days?
Jeremy; the Alfa toe nail! It's just a fancy jeep :)
Mathew O'Donnell
Hamster will get it to annoy Jeremy
sure toe nail...if people don't know how to properly pronounce it....ignorance
No
Can’t wait to see the production version of Aston-Martin Lagonda suv, going to be a game changer
New TOP GEAR is so boring it barely exists
Cupra styling looks like a Decepticon?! Lol
Not shocked that there's this many SUVs coming out. I am not an SUV person, but that doesn't mean other people are not. Maybe, one day I'll have a need for an SUV. (:
Lagonda from the side looks like a modern twist on the late 90s Jeep Grand Cherokee, even the rims give it that jeep vibe
Looks nothing like any jeep / suv / off-roader. AM just being silly. Looks like it could cope with a motorway and that’s it.
That Alpha Romeo is sick. I'm gonna cut my toe nails now
Can't wait for a Buggati SUV
*That Bentley* 😍
The color is beautiful, just look at it 👌
I will go for Alfa
That wakanda one is nifty
That Cupra and Alfa 😚👌
Alfa tonale , hope that name doesn’t make production! Everyone will call it the toe nail, as he say’s it in the video!
Rori paddison man you ignorant
It should, it’s awful, people should be warned
sure toe nail...if people don't know how to properly pronounce it....ignorance
@@muma9346 most people in the world don't speak Italian. That's a problem when you want to sell your cars to those people.
It reminds me of that convertible roof cover thing
Can’t wait till the Urus S
The panel gaps on the Alfa look production ready.
Bentley is the nice one and that color is just magnificent! I’ve always liked the Bentley over RR all models, I think it looks nicer.
T Roc R looks great especially with that blue colour
The alfa romeo looks something straight out of cars movies.
I wish that little T Roc R would come to the state's! And yes, we need little go fast suv's at least here I the state's!
Bentley looks superb
Nice video.. all of SUVs at Geneva International Motor Show 2019 is gorgeous.
The lagonda omg
The real interesting one will be shown next week.
Now let’s picture Doug reviewing this machine 🤣🤣
He Obviously wasnt sitting in the new Cayenne. its a rolling living room and this is what SUVs are all about :)
The end is near!!!
LOL, Top Gear used to bring the cars to the track and now what? You need to come to the Motor Show just like any regular car reviewer on youtube..
Fathu Nur Don’t be thick.
They gotta evolve with time. After the 3 men left top gear. All these Car UA-camrs grew exponentially. Now they have so much attention of the car world it's stupid not to target that market.
Because these manufacturers are going to let a bunch of concept/new cars out onto a track ? Don’t be an idiot
First the Stevia, then the Quattro fromaggi, and now this name. Its beautiful though
Can't wait for the toenail to come into production 🤣🤣🤣
What camera nd codec do you use for these videos?
No way that Lagonda concept will make it to production. And that's a good thing.
Too cool .. I like 1st one bro
Carwow!!!!!
Porsche Cayenne number 1 seller until it was replaced by thenumber 1, Porsche Macan. The Macan is even putting up better sales numbers than the Cayenne ever did. Does the world need a high performance suv. the world has been saying yes for a while.
The frond end looks like a Mazda CX9.
SUV's just keep on getting better and better...!!! 👌
It's the higher ride that people love...!!! ❤👍😁
Gingy 😍
Alfa is the looker
I would love to see a lot more concept ideas make it into cars. We have so many regulations forcing manufacturers to tone everything down. Not so sure about that bright orange though. Lol
What is the height of the host so i can get a idea of the car
That Lagonda - ahahahahahaha

Matthew Jenkinson oh I’m sure it’s lovely. The problem is it is worth more than both of my kidneys.
I liked your video until you said the T Roc R is not necessary. It is the perfect mix of performance and practicality. What a beautiful car I wish they brought it to the US.
the Lagonda body, you break it you lose it... dangerous car
Why are the carbon ceramic brakes useful? A Bentley Bentayga probably won’t see any circuit where it has to brake often.
The Lagonda concept looks way to similar to the eVision sedan concept from Tata Motors which was displayed in 2018 last year.
America needs a t-roc R
The VW looks amazing. Dude, don’t know what you’re talking about.
It just looks like any VW to me.......... Boring!
I would totally drive one if they sold it in the US..
Remember aston martin getting in luxury bpat business? They made one for road incase you have phobia to be in water
I wonder if people realise that top gear isn't just the car show?
Cool
Toe Nail. 😂
05:30 Toe nail Am I the only one heard that???

This side brand thing is getting popular eh
I’m not sure what you’re on about, that VW was the star of this video.
Fantastic looking vehicle!

An autonomous Aston in 2022 😳
Does the steering wheel actually have a 1 on it lol? Can see a coupla big dawgs in this one
Just wait for the 2.0 l cupra of 310 cv + the eléctric motor of 115 cv
I’ll be happy to look at a T-Roc R, getting of the age I appreciate the accessibility of an SUV but not willing to chuck away all sportiness.

Aston Martin cars are almost always beautiful, concept cars are almost always beautiful. This lagonda breaks the mould
The new cupra just looks like the new MG ZS
alfa is beautiful
I didn't get all these mini SUVs and we fast and small SUVs, why?
Guys u start making videos in 18:9 planel because most of the phones of the in 2019 have only long type planes

Go watch the grand tour ya baby
T-Roc has finally real exhausts
ALL of those SUVs just look like mini super yachts...
Ohhhi still TOP GEAR exists
Will the toenail break like one too lol
5:30 who thought it was toe nail
How's an electric suv going to manage in tougher terrains?
Tougher terrain like a street curb
Well, electric motors = instant torque and more importantly, manageable torque through variable speed management systems
Instead of having locking a differential and a motor that relies combustion, rotational speed etc, it’s instantaneous
So potentials are limitless when it comes to the right manufacturer
