my son is in his first 72 hours now, so thank you for sharing ... very helpful to have a general idea of what he's experiencing!
@@catherinegregory1008 I'm glad it could help!
My son just left yesterday
Best video that i saw about this! Thank u
@@pedrozamluti1679 thanks for watching!

@@theone1480 best of luck to you!
Thank you for your video
@@72merouane thank you for watching!
I go Aug 13 2024 , definitely needed this.
You'll do great! Just a fair warning, reception is the worst part. I promise you, life gets soooo much better after reception. Don't think that basic will be like reception and you'll be just fine. Have fun while you're there!
august 19 for me 2024
@stereotypicalitalian8437 good luck brother!
Was gonna say good luck but they gone already lol I got August 26th 11b
@@_-Sparky-_306 😂 it's the thought that counts! Good luck out there brother
You should of went into detail about the obstacle courses you need to pass.
@@zfouleur I would have, but they can all be waived
Hell yea brother , I went to basic with him 🤝🏾
@@edvonmacklin9028 sure did!
Hey, thanks so much for the video. I’m a husband and father of 3 headed to 11b training on August 27. I’m looking forward to any videos you can make before then. Do you have any time saving tips, “cheats”, or pro tips that could save time or make life just a little easier? Thanks again and I really appreciate well made videos like yours.
@kzomerlei the rest of the videos will be out by then! The #1 tip I can give is to just keep moving forward! Being able to shut your brain off and go to your "happy place" when things get tough is a vital skill to learn.
I also told him do not have your weapon more then a arms length away. Do not have your locker unsecured
Was there 1992 11-C...Ft Benning back then as I'm sure you know :)
@briand8146 it's definitely odd calling it Ft. Moore! But I'm curious how different training was then vs. now??
Look at you. Hell ya brotha
Thanks brotha!
Make more of these and some on reception
@@Anakin-Skywalker. I'll do my best!
I’m also at the gym watching this rn I’m trynna join but I’m way to big rn im 6”4 270 lbs
@Anakin-Skywalker. Just keep workin and you'll get there!
Quick question.Did you happen to know anybody's named of private estolaza
@@user-kx1xp8oz5k I dont believe so
I hated the duffel bag
@@bradbrown7273 it was a fun experience though lol
@@Tomdahlvlogs it was just hated getting smoked every 5 min 😂 thought that would never end
Till one guy and I wised up and everyone line up called out names on the bags
Would love a video about all the phases,I want to go infantry so your content is amazing!
@TheBeast-qv2gy I'm working on white and blue phase today! The plan is to drop it tomorrow (Sunday 8/4). So make sure you turn the notifications on to see when it drops!
@@Tomdahlvlogs how often do y’all run in a week at osut?
That varies depending on the training for the week, but it's really not much. We were lucky to run once a week...
My son is there at ft. moore now . He says he is liking it but he wouldnt recommend it to his brothers lol.
@jeanroy7240 😅😅 everyone definitely has their own experience! Basic sucks, wait until he gets to the big army, I'm sure things will change! What week is he on?
Was there in 2014/15, 11b D 2-54. Is there still 100+ dudes going to Jewish services for the bagels and cream cheese? lol
@@bullets4brekfst884 🤣🤣 it's fricken cookies now!!
Fort Moore? Who was that? Why didn’t the army name if Fort Audie Murphy!?
It's named after lt. Gen. Moore Jr. There's a lot of history behind him and his wife which is why they chose the honor him and his wife with renaming Benning to Moore. There's a ton of info on it out there
Hal Moore. Ever seen We were soldiers.
You left out the crazy gay slumber parties we had
@adambrandow1418 😂😂 that's something each needs to experience on their own😅
Do they do the two mile on a road or a track ???
@brandons334 for the acft, the run is done on a track. All other running is done on the roads.
@@Tomdahlvlogs thanks
Thanks for the vid brotha !! I head out for 11x in 38 days
@@DrewCoggs best of luck! Make it fun!
@@Tomdahlvlogs did you have any airborne ranger or sf recruiters come to osut ?
Army is soft now
@Nowatay37 the training definitely isn't the same as it used to be! It had it's moments, but relatively speaking, it was much easier now.
Go Ranger then talk
@@theone1480 lmfao guy I don't need to go ranger to talk. 🤡
