I want to point out that you don't need trade agreements to trade in diplomacy screen. You only need them for automatic import/export depos.
If you need some food for farms by any means you can import them from the start.
At the same time trade agreements make prices much better and there is huge boost for relationship, so they are in time worth the price. There will still be these demands for help from your trade partners, but you can mostly dismiss them, as your relationship bonus from trade is big enough.
It is simply astounding that I have at several points, in different games, decided to look something up with the same result. A wonderful video by you that calmly explains the topic! Thanks for your videos, truly your taste in games and your video style are both excellent!

I don't mind pointing out things I was wrong at, I do mind being called a liar. Mistakes happen, the game gets changed a ton between the versions. Mind your tone pls.
