So cool! I have also made Dark Shadow puppet for my own cosplay :D it was a not as massive as yours, a little chibi shadow haha. Also, I wanted it to be able to hide under the cape :)

As a fursuit maker myself it is really difficult when making sharp pointed areas. The one thing I've learned though is that it's basically that less is more. Around muzzles, ears, or anything with a defined shape. I'm still learning as well so I feel ya with all this. This honestly looks so adorable!
I think I'm better equipped now for my next one, there's a lot to be said for being brave and just going in with trimmers and scissors to emphasise a shape! Also I gotta remember to make my shapes smaller, fur fabric just bulks everything out so much!
@@KeepDrawingCharlie Definitely! it was a huge lesson learned for me too on first fursuit head! Either way gorgeous work though and I do hope I didn't come off as disrespectful.

This looks so good i would recommend you get some Bluetooth headphones you can get pretty cheap ones these days but they make it way easier to watch tv or listen to music well I’m working on my crafts
I usually just play music out loud, but I made a lot of this puppet in lockdown at my partner's apartment so I had to use headphones. Now I'm back to my speakers blasting out tunes!

Is it possible to make furless drawings? Like dragons from drakengard? (I'm considering getting a particular dragon commission, but not sure)
How you sculpted the head is similar to how fursuit heads are made. I think the methods used could translate well if you usually make fursuits and want to make puppets, or the other way around.
You can use scissors to cut the fur. You make small, short snips and try to get as close to the backing as possible. It also helps if you mark the fur direction on your pattern pieces with an arrow. Mugiwara Cosplay has tutorials on working with fur.
This was amazing! Maybe make another original character puppet similarly to dark shadow? At least for the eye part with the leds.

Actually can't remember! Probably not enough tbh but it was one of my first client builds and I was excited someone wanted my work. I think it was under £1000 but over £500?
