I honestly kinda doubt that actually happened. Speaking for myself and everyone I know in the industry we don’t smoke in costume... People love to imagine that princesses are bitter crackheads or whatever but we’re not, we love what we do and are happy to make our living performing. How playing my instrument can make a room full of people dance brings me happiness, etc. but also it's very tiring. There's so much more than the performance from dealing with bookings and trying to convert leads into clients and contracts and managing realistic requests to rehearsals to the running around on the day of loading gear in and out of places, lots of sweat, etc. Often you're exhausted before the show even starts and you're like "Holy crap, now I gotta play drums for three hours, then get all of this stuff back in the truck and drive home! I'm getting too old for this!" The good thing is she only has to manage herself whereas I have to make sure that 5 people show up at the right place at the right time in the proper attire, etc.

As someone who did this for a year and a half/ran a children's entertainment buisness, as long as you advertise that you are a "generic princess" or use a princess that is in the public domain, along with not advertising anything specific, it's fine. You can use the specific costumes and stories at your parties. For Disney it's less about the costumes/stories and more about what you are advertising. At the end of the day, they care more about the money/copyright. It's definitely confusing and the lines aren't completely black and white though haha

@@refinery29 Do you ever get around on public transportation?
She's spreading happiness and putting smiles on people's faces. The woman is no princess, she's a downright queen! Respect 💖💖
I feel her. I also prefer to make less money but live a happy live doing I love.
The smiles u bring on the lil ones is the best thing to do! Keep it goin! God bless u!
What an amazing job! You seem passionate about it.
I really appreciate her dedication for the things she loves to do... and really love how she handle children really well...
Man UA-cam recommends the craziest things and I'm always up for it. My search usually includes wrestling speed chases and cook in a microwave. Somehow a princess fits into my life.
I really appreciate your work. It's amazing. You make so many children believe in the good things in fairy tales. There's still a lot of cruelty in this world.
I really appreciate that. Thank you. You’re right there’s a lot of cruelty in this world. I really enjoyed bringing joy to people and hope to find a way to do that even without the costumes and wigs!

Her as an adult:
