Great one shot! I was hoping someone ran a game of 'The Witch Is Dead'. I'm planning on running a session for a friend's birthday. Since it is the month of witches, ghouls, and other spooky creatures, the 'The Witch Is Dead' seemed perfect. I was used to running D&D 5e games, but first time running a 'one page' ttrpg and (in hindsight) was over thinking it while planning. So I was glad you guys ran it! Loved your guys' little critters, even the creepy Rubbit! If you don't mind if I ask a couple of question. If you do mind (or don't really remember, it has been over seven months since you posted this game) then don't worry about I wrote below. DM Questions - What other challenges/outcomes were you planning if the PCs didn't rolled so well? Mainly with matching the herb from the note to the witch's supply. Would the PCs have to try to locate the wolf's den without Scarlet or her dad? Would there been a chance that the poor critters didn't make to the witch's house in time before villagers burned the cottage down? - What would have changed if the PCs tried to follow the bloody paw prints at the beginning instead of going into town? - What other surprises did you have in store that the PCs avoided? PC Questions - What did you guys most enjoyed or were surprised about in the game? - What was the most memorial moment you remember a character doing (yours or anyone else's)?
