There is no way the price on these cookies is justified, no matter what, it's an outrageous price even for "artisan" cookies. You are paying for the packaging and the marketing/branding more than anything else.
But thank you for sharing your experience with us!
Hope the cookies didn't make you sick, as they themselves say they're shelf-stable up to 2 weeks only.
