In a wonderful celebration, Their Royal Highnesses The Prince and Princess of Wales surprised NHS staff and patients from across the UK at a very special NHS Big Tea party - even arriving early to help lay the tables, put the finishing touches on a birthday cake, and debate the age-old question: jam or cream first.
Hosted by NHS Charities Together - the charity of which Their Royal Highnesses are Patrons - and television presenter Mel Giedroyc, the event was attended by guests representing the incredible achievements of the NHS and NHS charities over the last 75 years.

He will be a wonderful and loyal support to his Father , King Charles , and is one son who can be trusted and relied upon . Our prince of Wales will make a fine king one day , With His dedication to duty , his loyalty ,and having such a strong connection to the public of all ages in the UK and the Commonwealth . It's not surprising that Prince William and his lovely wife are so loved by so many throughout the UK and all over the world. I applaud and respect the Wonderful Prince and Princess of Wales .

Sadly, I've never had a scone, but I would think I'd put the jam on before the cream because, like Mel pointed out, the jam is the heavier of the two.
If an oven is available, it's not difficult for anyone to bake it. Try it. For cream tea, the most difficult part is how to get cream except you're in the UK.

Starting at over £23,000 is a more than adequate salary; with opportunities to gain higher grades and greater salaries too.
@@jillosler9353 That is £23k though working 50+ hour weeks, makes the £ per hour go down a lot. To give the NHS more money means more Taxes, which i'm fine with as the NHS do a wonderful job with little resources.

Well it was the NHS’s birthday. Those invited either saved lives or are charity based individuals who worked hard in raising funds for the NHS and keeping it open.
Strict protocol isn’t appropriate at such a gathering.
The difference is H&M broke protocol on a regular basis. Even at State events.
William and Catherine are playing by their own playbook. One that is working. Their popularity has skyrocketed since H&M have left.
As for the hugs and selfies that was always going to happen eventually. Nothing to do with Meghan. The Queen was from a different generation. Once she died things were going to be changed. William and Catherine simply adapted to what the public wanted.
