- Goodbye Volcano High is a narrative adventure game that stars a cast of dino-humanoid teenagers starting out their last year of high school, figuring out their futures, and dealing with a meteor that will presumably destroy them all. Previewed by Cameron Hawkins.
How come the "misfit" teens in these things are always cool, in bands and surrounded by a tight group of friends? So many of these games about how angsty and awkward early adulthood is have characters with lives I'd have killed for as a teenager. Not all of us were Oregon hipster teens.
You cant be upset that when you were angsty you didn't at least try to learn a skill.
Because the plastic in the devs' funko pop collections have poisoned their brains.
@@averynewtown2782 You’re presuming he’s coming from a position of jealousy when he actually seems to be asking for more realism. Most uncool people aren’t “secretly cool” like the characters in this type of game/movie/show. A proper answer to his question would be that it’s much more difficult to write an interesting story about misfit characters who are genuinely boring. The shortcut is for writers to instead write about characters who are actually awesome, just misunderstood.
Because of the same reason that Hollywood and Netflix dramas only care about depression victims when they're hot and go to a lot of orgies.
