I never imagined that one day I would see the great Branislav teaching how to play a brazilian-made boardgame. This is fantastic! Hugs and much love from Brazil, your tutorials are the greatest.
I join all the people congratulating you for this fantastic explanation of the game rules. You make it in every video! It is just a matter of watchng the video, displaying the components and start to play. Thank you very much indeed
Great Branislav! I'm a big fan! I'm history teacher and participated of the historical booklet that came with this game, I don't know if your version came with this booklet, but that's it, I'm very happy to see this video!
I heard about this game at Essen but unfortunately it wasn't available, very curious to try it! As always, thank you very much for a clear and succinct explanation, you're amongst the absolute best, Brazilslav! :p
Aesthetically stunning artwork and very clearly explained but it has so many moving parts. I often think that the word “game” in “boardgame” is just a figure of speech!
It's a game because it's "make-believe" and it's outcome has "no real repercussions". But some do feel like homework more than a fun and playful thing people enjoy.
There are just two mansions per player, that means that you can only build up to two cities per game? If you get a golden card that gives you a end game score, you should keep it in your hand until the end of the game or you can put it on the board? Cannons can add combat damage from the distance to a unit from an adyacent tile?
Hi, Branislav! Could you please explain what happened if one cannon attacks another one? They are destroy each other? Can be the battle cards or painting cards used during the distanced attack?
From the rulebook: As soon as one or more Military Units enters a space with an enemy Military Unit, Building or City, combat is initiated. So it happnes the moment you move in.
If you fight against an exploration tile, does the vp only count for combat strenght or does it also count as VP. Rules say to keep it in front of you but why if it counts only for strenght? 🤷🏻♀️ thanks for your explanations, they are very helpful 👍
If you win the exploration tile you gain some rewards. For example, if it's science you get the science immediately and you can discard the tile. If it's VPs, you keep the tile because you will score it at the end of the game. Hope it helps. 🙂
@@nithrania-gameinanutshell we founded this too strong, one person had three of this Tiles and had more points than the person who ended the game and fullfilled all three quests
@@nithrania-gameinanutshell I bought this game and just waiting for delivery. I haven’t seen any playthrough for this game in English. Currently only your tutorial and the solo from JPlay. Read a few mixed reviews and comparisons to Scythe. I never played Scythe but this theme draws me in more. But from the way I saw it played I actually like it and can’t wait to play it. Retail production looks top notch!
All hexes owned by players must be connected to their cities - so check who owns the city. You may never have 2 adjacent hexes that belong to 2 different players. Basically - the city "areas" of 2 different players may never be "joined".
In this video, you state that you cannot build a city adjacent to enemy units, but then proceed to build the city next to an enemy unit. This would be an illegal build correct?

What a fabulous tutorial. I’m going to attempt a play without reading the rules due to this excellent explanation. Thank you so much.

Thank you so much for your kind words. ☺️
A great video. Helped us learn to play the game for the first time. Great work.
Very good explanation, thank you. Excited to play it..
Great job! Thank you!
Perfect, as usual.
Great video!!

True! 😄 But this is not really "a lot of moving parts", I've seen far worse than this, and I have no desire to play such games. :)

Very nice introduction, thank you.
just got my copy in English. this is super helpful, as the rulebook is 24+ pages long
Super explained, thank you very much. I am subscribed your channel 😁
Thank you. ☺️
Hi, Branislav! Could you please explain what happened if one cannon attacks another one? They are destroy each other? Can be the battle cards or painting cards used during the distanced attack?
Hi, yes, you can use cards for the distant attacks.
So with both cannons in a battle, one cannon will win. In case of a tie, the defender wins!
For the end game scoring, do you include tiles you built even if enemy units occupy them?
No. They are scored by the enemy player.
Do you finish all of your movement, including bonus movement before resolving combat? Or is combat initiated the moment you move in?
From the rulebook: As soon as one or more Military Units enters a space with an enemy Military Unit, Building or City, combat is initiated.
So it happnes the moment you move in.

I agree! These exploration tiles are (in my humble opinion) the worst part of the game - too random and too unbalanced.
Wow this game looks amazing!! Is this a retail copy or KS ?
This is a retail version! :)

Hi bran.
I’m a bit unsure how you tell who owns what hex.
I see some tiles with just resources on them.
All hexes owned by players must be connected to their cities - so check who owns the city. You may never have 2 adjacent hexes that belong to 2 different players. Basically - the city "areas" of 2 different players may never be "joined".

Well, you can't build adjacent to enemy TILES, not units.
Very nice Video! Did you like the game?
Thank you. :) The game was "OK" for me, I liked it. I didn't have any issues with the game, it just did not have any hook for me.
Can I renovate a building with a capital? ( flip it)
No.
Are the rules in english?
Yes.
Where's the shirt?
🙂 Accidentally damaged, so I had to get it fixed. 🙂
