My favorite Demeter fragrance is Thunderstorm. Great idea to layer a jammy rose fragrance with cranberry!
I appreciate how Demeter scents are great for being able to spray, indulge or refresh you in a scent or memory, but not overstay their welcome. I often use them as room sprays if they are something I want to smell but not wear, mostly. I like the idea of being able to use them to layer with different perfumes that you wish had more of a certain note in them, too. Thank you for these recommendations (Bonfire and Earl Grey Tea sound lovely!)

I LOVE Demeter scents. Pineapple smells exactly like freshly cut pineapple. Just wish it lasted longer.
I really enjoy listening to you describing your impressions, you have a really great vocabulary or something. Maybe what it is that you're a really good presenter, articulate. My favorite Demeter scent is Cannabis Flower! It's good on its own but it's best for layering with literally everything. You know how sometimes a particular scent smells exceptional on a particular person due to body chemistry or dark magic or whatever - adding this makes whatever I'm wearing smell that type of exceptional on me. Try it!!
I have no idea how I just now found this channel (I do, actually - algorithm feeding me male reviewers reviewing men's fragrances) but you are so my new favorite reviewer. It is so nice to hear opinions on unisex frags from outside the men's fragrance echo chamber and your Penhaligon's videos were so helpful!
Just ordered Sunshine , Carribean Sea, and Play Dough 😄🌞. I love Dirt, Pure Soap and Laundromat too !
My favourite Demeter fragrance is Dirt. Smells like damp soil or potting compost. Excellent to layer or on its own. Last for ages, strong projection and longevity. I've had my large bottle for years and it still smells awesome

i am so happy we have Demeter in our local website... but it is soooo overwhelming because there are a LOT!!!!! XD XD XD i rrally find the really unique ones (names) very interesting. I even saw a DIRT perfume there... XD

I'm curious about their cherry and marshmallow ones.. Simply because I love the smell of cherry and marshmallow, and it's hard to find perfumes that smell properly like those notes.
Got curious now about some of the ones you mentioned! Like cranberry and salt water. :)
Holy cow, I feel like 10 sprays of ANY frag is WAY too much... I normally use 2 sprays of most frags, and at most 3 or 4 of lighter ones.
There's a trucker that sometimes comes in the warehouse I work in. I'm pretty sure he wears Le Male, but like 5 or 10 sprays... I've never been closer than probably 15 or 20 feet from him (often farther) but I can always smell his MONSTROUS sillage trail that fills half of a big warehouse room. Sometimes I smell him and look around and he's nowhere to be seen 😂🥴
Obviously to each their own but I just feel that that much cologne/perfume is way obnoxious 😬

Yeah I'm a 1 spray -sprayer too 😂 But I understand the tolerance is different for different people - just like with alcohol, some people are 'lightweight' and can drink only 1-2 drinks, while others have no problem downing 10 drinks. 😁

I really want to try a tropical one that takes me to a hot tropical beach. Have you tried ocean or caribbean sea? If so, what are your thoughts? Many thanks xx
Caribbean sea smells good :) in the bottle or sprayed on paper it smells a little like a household cleaner 😭💀☝️ but once I sprayed it on myself, it became much more aquatic 🤌
I get a hint of citrus, clean water, and coconut. I like it, its very fresh and clean 🙂

I do! I sold it awhile back as I had so many woody scents and I just wasn’t wearing it. But I’ve considered repurchasing!
