Kazuya is broken just because of a few moves And mechanics that causes a lot of hit stun and can knock you out if your shield but not break it. low knockback moves and high damage which is a horrible way to design a character. Because it is easy bs combos that should not exist if his moves had normal knockback and no hitstun he would be fine because he wouldn’t be able to just take a stock because of one hit. Not only that cause he did not need to reflect did not need to come back mechanic and did not need tough guy from Bowser. Otherwise he would be very vulnerable against jabs like Mewtwo’s. Kazuya should also have the weakest shield in the game. Most of the DL lC was not checked for being overpowered because of Covid. which they all are except piranha plant.
I mean his combo game could be better, he needs to find the good balance between defensive and offensive play, spamming little shadow balls should lead to an extende rwith any aerial move and not just building a little lead, his neutral game is good, but could be a little bit more agressive
That guy is 100% carried by kazuya but Griseous missed so many free punishes and edge guards on kazuya it’s frustrating to watch as a mewtwo main. I think the nerves got to him, cuz mewtwo absolutely steamrolls kazuya offstage and he never took advantage

Can someome tell me if 7:21 was down angled? I play mewtwo but I'm notoriously bad at angling my tilts. I think the kill screen made it look like a neutral tilt, but I'm fairly certain this had to be down angled. You can see his first tftilt at 7:20 was down angled.
It was. You can tell by the angle his eyes look during the animation. Casters were incorrect about it being a neutral angled tilt. Mewtwo looks in the direction of the tilt.

I suppose. At least on the plus side, his gameplan looks pretty linear (cheese lord), and Cloud and Kazuya are not good characters to play in a linear way. Though I'm spitting here. I don't think I could play well enough to beat him.
This Mewtwo just endlessly gave up his advantage states without any % which was what cost him the match. The very last stock he throws Kuz off the stage and then proceeds to jump off with him fast falling down with neutral Air.. just ledge guard the character with bad options man.. also why neutral air instead of down air in that moment lol

Still need allot of actual mechanical skill to play Kuzayu to any decentsy. But this is coming from a Fox Main in Melee and Ultimate

Griseous has good, patient neutral. Doesn't throw out anything too committal. Definitely something I could learn from.
