No reason to bring the planner to the appointment. It’s her job to adapt the event to the bride’s gown. The planner is a control freak.

@@kittyb275 Also, if she was a consultant there (they said she worked at Kleinfeld, but didn’t specify in what capacity) she would know that not all designers will make custom changes to gowns.

OMG, why is the planner there. I wish the bride would stand up and tell the planner her choice on the bridal gown is not part of her planning. If I were the consultant, I would have asked a coworker to keep the wedding planner occupied and busy while managing the appointment.

OMG, that was a terrible experience for the bride and for all of us watching. The wedding planner had to go. Poor Keesha! Unbelievable! Devil's advocate - yes you were and mot in the way that you mean. And you certainly were the wrench in that poor brides day. Try to remember that it is her day and experience. Not yours!

3 hours and didn’t buy a dress? This is why I advocate for Kleinfeld’s to charge for per hour for their appointments. If you buy the dress, it’s subtracted from the purchase. This would curtail appointments like this that just waste the consultant’s time. The consultant was so gracious.
The wedding planner was making it all about her and not the bride. Why the bride brought her to this appointment is beyond me. It’s not her job, and she should have been more respectful of Kleinfelds and Keasha. After a three-hour appointment, the bride was no further along in her decision than when she walked through the door at the beginning of the appointment. The wedding planner should have been terminated as she caused most of the problems.
I doubt that woman got any more jobs in wedding planning after this.

Bride's first mistake was entering Kleinfelds with an entourage. If you're not mature enough to make your own decisions and need the opinions of 8 other people then maybe you're not mature enough to get married!

That wedding planner needs to learn to stay in her lane. She actually derailed the appointment with her input and her choices, which were generally all bad, she was not respecting the what the bride wanted. That woman needs to come back WITHOUT her planner and like maybe to have two people with her and let the staff do their job.
