In this video you can see how I fixed my Audi A4 B8.5 with some heated side mirrors with less than 40$.
Materials used:
- Heat gun
- Gloves
- Left Side mirror glass: TYC 302-0092-1
- Right Side mirror glass: TYC 302-0091-1
- Diagnostic tool: VCDS / carly / OBD11 ...

Exelent! Today i found your UA-cam canal and subscribed immediately I like your videos! I have some questions and suggestions for you.
Questions
1. You sold audi a4 2014 and bought 2009 with high mileage?
2. How its possible audi a4 b8.5 to don't have heated mirrors? I personally can't anderstand. Its non forgivable for me
3. What you wheel tel about lights on your 2009 a4 b8 with 280000km are they worn out. How it's the light at night
Suggestions
1.You should do more videos more often i like your detailed explanations
2. You should do video for cleening the lights that fog you mentioned in one video and I personal want to see the mirror coating on the reflecto after 280000km.
PS I personally have the similar Audi A4 B8 2010 avant with CAGB engine 100kw and I am mechanical engineer too for vehicles and I do myself most of repairs on my car. Thanks

1. Yes. The reason was the extra cash I needed + I needed a car to fix stuff on. The 2014 A4 had no issues.
2. Audis are really strange with their options. You really need to pay extra for what other brands deliver as standard… 🤷♂️
3. The lights in the night are okish, but nothing compare with the 2014 A4. So they are worn out yes. I will do a video where I try to make them better.

I was in the last months very busy because I’ve built my garage at home. I did that in order to give me a better work/film environment, so the plan is to focus on the channel asap. 😁👍

That is a good idea. And a time laps… 👍 but now it’s too late. I’ve sold that car 😁 I have another B8 which is not in the best condition. Check my other videos 😁

Hi! I’m not sure (because my old b6 had the heated mirrors) but I assume you need to code them as well.
Does the car engine need to be running for the heated mirrors to actually work?

Can you put heated mirrors in a 2018 Chevy Tahoe LS?
I don’t know exactly, but in principle I can say that if it’s an option that the manufacturer has, it should be possible.
But based on the platform, it may be easy or very dificult. Maybe it’s plug and play, or maybe you need to change harnesses, modules, coding… 🤷♂️ I don’t know. Sorry. 😁
I heard I need to change the mirror adjustment button as well. Or not?
I don’t think so. I didn’t change it for b8.5. A friend of mine didn’t changed it for a b8.

My codes are 3119201 and 3119208. Does it says anything in description are they got heated and auto dimming function?
Have romanian friend, so might ask him to double check for me. Interesting if they would fit to UK cars, as mirrors maybe slightly different to Europe market.
It's so stupid how audi made this work on pre facelift model. And also strength of heating elements behind mirrors are not that great. Comparing to my other car (fabia mk1)
I agree, some decisions made by Audi for this B8 platform are strange 😂.... if not stupid...
What's the matter?
At B8 maybe it’s needed to start rear window heating to work. Have you checked if you have voltage in the wires after you turn it on? Also, have you coded the doors control modules?

Check and let me know. It should be easy to figure it out. Also have you checked both sides? None of them is working?

Do you really need the coding
Yes. Without coding it will not work because the door module will not send current to the mirror.
