When I was a little girl my daddy was a trapper & I was his helper David. I loved it. We trapped beavers, coons, bob cats, coyotes & possums. Daddy's been gone since 2007 & I miss those times with him so much.
@@MinkesMom Yes I was. I was a daddy's girl & always will be even though he's gone. He's the reason I have the love & respect for nature and wildlife. Now I rehabilitate & release all kinds of wild baby critters & some grown critters. I also catch & relocate nuisance alligators. I feel like not only am I doing something my daddy would be proud of but God as well.
The more I watch of your videos, the more I am convinced I was born in the wrong part of the country. I was born in the north east, and there isn’t much going on up here compared to where you are. It looks like good clean living down there. The way God intended us to be. Keep up the great work.
I love how you show us how you trap beaver as well as trapping hogs! Don’t get me wrong….I never miss one of your hog trapping videos, but seeing how you approach the trapping other “pest animals” is great, e.g. beaver, coyotes, etc! Thanks David!
I lol when you showed The trapping trailer,,,,dam Boy, that’s a selection,..I have 6 toe traps , Im motivated to set a few toe catch traps ,this opooosom been feed😂ing off my pickup bed craps,,,i like the idea of cage traps,,that way the vermin can be transported an replaced miles away, verses taking its life,…
Blessings this morning. Great to be out just doing something love watching you take care of business. Beavers can destroy some land quickly. God bless you. Wish I had a bit more energy but we all play the hand we are giving by our Father. Have a great day and please keep the videos coming it's great to watch you in the great outdoors.
I’m sure the full length waders are much better than the hip waders! You can use the hip waders for that mud hole that trap is in LOL. Thanks for giving us another great video and sharing part of your life with us!
I was out in the clam flats in Maine with over-sized boots in that much mud, until I fell over backwards & could not get up. Lucky me Clammers were there to help me before the tide came back in. Every few years we lose a Clammer due to incoming tides after an accident. Nasty way to die.
I believe I'd go with "I was just showing off my diverse skill set !" That was unbelievable !!! Glad you caught that straggler hog...someone will appreciate the meals it'll make !!! God Bless !!!
David my grandpa would be proud of you. He was an old Cajun trapper who taught me how to trap, hunt and fish. My dad was always working to feed his wife and 4 sons.
@David, i must say your a pretty inspiring kinda guy!! No matter what the day brings you have a smile when it starts and when it ends! You crack me up and yourself too! Keep that faith it sure shows!! I think this man could do anything as long as he has the lord in his heart!! ❤
Another great video!! God Bless you and your family!! Thank you for sharing your life with us and the message you bring to us!! Be safe and God Bless y'all!!
The most of what I've learned in the woods as came from being a beaver trapper here in northern Michigan those animals put an education in our mind every trip out ! Keep up the good work
Old Fireman's trick. Sprinkle power Tide or other cheap powder laundry detergent on your WET dirty surface then wait a few minutes before scrubbing into surface with a strong straw whisk broom. Rinse and repeat until clean.
You have yourself a fine and diversified portfolio Mr Trapper David! Couple of those beaver sure can mess up a drainage system just as bad as they do low laying ag lands. Good to see you are nearing the end of that slop trap too. Hope you have an army of unwitting volunteers to help with that tear down and load out. Could be a productive end of January, so soon! -Bob...
Man that Beaver needed to Brush His/Her teeth them things are Orange 😂🤣 Ud think all the tree chewing they do their teeth would stay clean. But that one’s teeth looks like it just ate a bag of Cheeto’s 😂
👍👍👍👍! I ordered a single, and the 2 man drag last Friday, suppose to be here today!!! Cant wait to use them in Oklahoma next weekend!!! Congrats on 2 GOOD catches, and BEST OF LUCK on the next one! God Bless all!!!!!👍😊🙏🙏🙏🙏
Well makes two of us on the truck tags. But while you enjoy MS I' gonna go get the tags and come back and set up my call and get in the blind. Listened to coyotes all night long. Rain and getting colder here and snow predicted for later on. Have fun.
Wow David you are having one muddy time here later catching hogs and I'm so glad you have a that Ranger to get them to your truck God Bless you and your family for helping them folks in Mississippi with a hog

Nice job David, with the boar and the beaver. Do you skin and stretch your beavers ?? I was just wondering how far you went with your trapping. Thank you for sharing your videos with us. 🇺🇸

David, what a two-fer! That was a wonderful video & I love the sound of water flowing. I am hoping to make a visit to your favorite eating place, Trace-Way, soon & leave a monetary gift for you. Every time I plan to make a trip, the weather seems it has other plans, but I hope to make a mini-vacation of it, as I sure do need an escape. I have mapped it out too, as I will be coming from West Georgia, Senoia to be exact.
Glad to see your winch works , that is what l thought you would use to pick up your trailer when it broke the other day so you didn't have to move all those hogs
Wow David you just showed me how to get the steel traps off of the critters I catch thanks for letting me see that cuss I'm not strong enough to open the trap all the time ether God Bless
Gonna be showing how I set a few beaver traps. Then later on I won’t have to go through as much process. We’ll just be catching 😂
I enjoy seeing men work. ❤❤❤❤
Hope you show a better way to bottom anchor them rods🤣🤣🤣.

@@DavidEllisYawtYawt Any chance of putting a piece of metal in to reinforce the jack, maybe across the yoke from side to side?
All that mud. Man I couldn't do it. Tip my hat !

Great video - I’ve never seen beaver traps being set or caught.
Great job.
Thanks 👍

Thank you so much!
11:04 Is that a Crawfish Singing? I read the book, but I ain’t never heard one that I know.
Frogs. I saw the movie. Can you believe that bait motor made it all them years 😂
Only the Yawt Yawt could catch a beaver coming and going!😆😆😆👍👍
😂 😂
Good video David
Love you videos...keep'em coming
29:37 all that matters is you got him
Great video. I’ve never trapped but always love to learn something new just in case.
Thanks bud
Would you be able to ship hogs to n/y?
How many times have you gotten a mud bath? That stuff is really deep. The suction on your boots looks like it could pull you down.
good new use for ground rods lol
Got to love catching beavers I was able to catch my fist beaver this year and a second one the next day congrats
Heck yea
hi how do you do i watch plenty of your videos how come the corn never grow from the left over seeds
Cause it’s eaten or ground no good after hogs smash it
Looks like it would be easy to rig a winch on your trailer like the one on your side-by-side. Shure would save your back!
Nice job David, with the boar and the beaver. Do you skin and stretch your beavers ?? I was just wondering how far you went with your trapping. Thank you for sharing your videos with us. 🇺🇸
I don’t mess with the hide much. I have people who eat them and one guy I let have for the fur. But not worth much here in the south
As always beautiful upload video.. great job Sir .. Merci
That was quite interesting.. a lot of wading for a beaver but you made it happen! Great content.
Do you ever film the beaver trapping?
Did you leave your remote in the back of the side by side
I did 😂

Thank you!! 😁
Them pocket drags are worth every penny!!! Got me one a year or so ago from watch your channel.
Yes sir
Thanks for scrapping most that mud off before going to the car wash. It's amazing how many people don't have the decency to do that .
Car washes have sand traps and they expect that ,,
@timedvrod lehnen I've come to the car wash after people have used it on their mud trucks, and I couldn't even drive in with my car.
Your a hoot man, just saw your Channel for first time last hog catch. That’s some tough work, good one you sir. Cheers.
Thank you

David, beaver meat is actually quite tasty, you'd be surprised if you'd give it a try.
