Yes, yes, yes ma'am. I love it. I'm a Night Owl by nature so I can't wait to graduate and (hopefully) get a job on night shift. That Shift Differential isn't a bad thing either. :-D
Do you stutter? I'm in nursing school and stutter too. Kinda scared to communicate with people over the phone or pager on the job :( what's your experience if you do stutter?
what is your advice on sleeping the night before you work night shift? I find it hard to stay up all night or even late the night before i work and I feel like if i sleep that night then i wont be losing another night of sleep and i can just wake up early eat breckfast take a shower and try to "sleep" before i have to get up to work. Then if its a two nights in a row i can home home shower and go to sleep 9- 5? Is that a good initial plan? i did my first night on tuesday slept half a day wednesday then slept all wed night and im back sat and sun night.. kind of trying to figure out a good sleep schedule ik its very individualized though :/ do u eventually figure out what works for you?
On the night before I work I usually try and stay up a little and then sleep in as late as possible to kind of jump start that night shift sleep pattern ( I work 3 12hr shifts in a row). On my last shift, usually a Sunday, I'll sleep 4-6 hrs then wake up for the rest of the day. By Sunday evening, I'm usually able to go to sleep at my normal bedtime (9pm-10pm).

I smoke some weed right after my night shifts. Puts me to sleep right away and leaves me refreshed for the next shift. :)
My dad was a cop he loved nightshift. Did it for years. Did you enjoy the people you worked with?
