- A quick tutorial for a perfect Round house kick or so called Mawashi Geri Jodan in Kyokushin karate.
Learning round house kick can be difficult and we are demonstrating here few tips to improve your Mawadhi Geri Jodan in Kyokushin karate very quickly.
Make sure your knee goes though the body centre of your opponent before you actually extend your leg and do the actual Mawashi geri or round house kick.
When learning a round house kick, it is very important to remember to bring your leg back as quickly as possible in order to create a snapping mawashi Geri that can cause maximum damage.

Where did Kyokushin branch off from or what branched ofd from Kyokushin karate?
It's an old school Hybrid style, the founder , trained under goju ryu master, shotokan master did judo and aded savate kicks way back then to make the style complete also trained in china and Korea but mainly you'll see the goju ryu and shotokan katas and techniques

Yes. Kyokushin Karate was founded by Masutatsu Ōyama.
Face and body totally exposed to counter attract. This is worsened by poor balance when kick is completed.
In kyokushin you are not allowed to punch the face, you punch only the body with bare knuckles, it works but only for the kyokushin ruleset, otherwise it's hard to pull off

@@rajeshwarsharma1716Regardless of the ruleset though, trying to counter a headkick is very risky because of the fact that it is obvious since the targets for counterattacks are limited and expected.

Karate has a bunch of stances. This is “Fudo Dachi”. It’s used as a starting stance in formation or whenever you’re not doing anything else (like when you’re watching your senpai’s (teacher) instructions. I suppose it’s a way to make sure everyone pays attention and also to show respect to the dojo and your teacher. There’s no monkey business in the dojo!

If you’re far enough to kick, you’re not close enough to get punched. Keeping your hands up or down during a roundhouse doesn’t really matter if you’re a competent fighter defending against obvious counters.
Some Muay Thai fighters don’t keep their rear hand up during a roundhouse to the head because it’s way too dangerous to try and counter it.
They are Kyokushin practicion no need to hand up in Kyokushin cus they don't allowed punch in the face
@@vuanhucoan3609 even if they did muay thai drops or swings ther rear hand when they kick too ,. who's gonna puch and leave their head open while their appointment is swinging a power kick towards them .
@@crisalcantara7671 brother their game doesn't allow punch in the face so they are practice what effective for their fight not for fight against Muay Thai fighter or in the street. Additionally, many Kyokushin students have to training with high hands to fight Kick boxing or Muay so it just depend on what kind of style they gonna fight
