- Recently I got invited to go surfcasting in the Far North of New Zealand. I have never done this style fo fishing before and for this trip I was going to be fishing with a NZ Surfcasting legend by the name of Chad Prentice. Chad got us access to a stunning white sand beach via private property and the scene was set for an epic adventure. It was a massive learning curve for me and I will be forever grateful to Chad for sharing his experience with us.
The reason for the trip was to film a bunch of Shimano’s surfcasting product for their promotions, I thought the footage was too good not to share.
If your into surfcasting or wanting to get into this awesome pastime then this video may be worth a watch.
Thank you to the team at Shimano for giving me this opportunity.
Great exhibition bay great place ❤
Guess my problem back in the day must have been I wasn't using crays for bait :-)
Great video- Really enjoyed it!
Great video, greetings from Spain.
Epic, another awesome video Tony!
Thanks Sam
Do you think you would have caught more if you were using Daiwa rod and reel?
Why use mono instead of pe?
It’s just all to special really isn’t it.
