The interview was done in 1982. When she was an actress she probably had a different regime as she was younger and was either filming or being photographed.
Good genes (medically) didn’t actually translate to her and her brother. She suffered a stroke at 52 and her brother died from a heart attack while jogging in his 50’s.
Her diet sounds like the diet I had to go on . My stomach doctor ordered a high fiber diet for my stomach trouble. Alot of water ,fruit, Vegs etc. It really calm down my stomach trouble. Love your videos 😍
High fiber diets are important for us all. Colon cancer is one of the most common killers in the US. But a high fiber diet can actually help prevent it. You see fiber is our micrbiomes natural favorite food, and when we feed it it 'rewards' us by helping to get rid of cancer cells.
Grace Kelly has always been my ideal of perfect beauty, like Deborah Kerr or Catherine Deneuve. Classic beauties. Her diet makes sense as she stayed very thin for most of her life. She was my height. 5’6, 1m67. I wish I could have had her figure. Staying away from sugar is probably the best thing you can do for your body. It’s especially hard when you have a sweet tooth like me. I am grateful for keto desserts and very dark chocolate. That was a very nice video. Thank you Laura.
My very favorite moves!!! I got my son onto Rear Window as a youngster and at 17 years old, I dare to say it’s still a top favorite!! (And that is competing with Harry Potter and Star Wars!) Lol
The Hermès Kelly bag was made and named for Grace Kelly. You can see many photos of her wearing the bag in every color and different skins. (Python, eel, crocodile) This bag is still produced till today, and will always remain of the most coveted bags. 🇫🇷👜👑❤️
Hello Laura, I very much enjoyed watching this video on Grace Kelly.♥️ Thank you for sharing it. Can you please do Natalie Wood next? You’re so amazing! Thank you so much. Sending love ♥️♥️♥️😊😘 Inna
Love it! Grace is always a fave! I'd be thrilled to see one for Raquel Welch, but it might be fun to look at Angela Lansbury. She did a book about her postmenopausal wellness and diet during her Murder She Wrote and also a fitness tape I think? Kind of a left-field suggestion, but she was very glam during her MGM days!
I adore Katharine Hepburn. I've never researched what she ate, but I imagine she enjoyed a very well-balanced diet. I wouldn't guess that she would practice any unusual dietary restrictions.
The spoonful of honey in a cup of green tea is a great tip to cure sugar cravings. I've been doing this for the past few months (except with lemon) and it really works!
Not eating sweet things for breakfast is also very helpful. If I'll start my day with jam or nutella on toast or something like that I'll crave sweets for the rest of the day. That doesn't happen when I have oats with fruit or even hearty stuff (eggs, avocado,...) for breakfast.
Laura, what a fantastic video and diet plan of Grace Kellys! I have to have brown sugar, in my oatmeal tho! She was beautiful, elegant & an amazing actress! She was meant to be a Princess and she left us too soon!
Grace Kelly is my favorite actress for elegance beauty. I saw all of her films. I bought some of the picture s books. Today these actress do not exist no more. Thanks for videos informations they give the idea of those passed times.
Hi Laura, have you ever thought about " Alberto VO5" vintage vlog? 60s / 70s hair gooooruuuuu Everyone used his products in 70s 80s. Only a few products survive today
🙋 This is so neat that you research these old Hollywood diets. I find them so fascinating. I think Grace Kelly is such a classy lady. Yes I definately would do her diet plan!!! Thanks for sharing.☺
I bought the Grace lipstick 💄. It is excellent...heavy pigment and the color is a rosy red. I love it! I am a picky lipstick gal and this is moist and stays on!!
Id like to eat small portions, but im 5'10 and need the extra calories otherwise id look skeletal eating the same amount a woman 5 inches shorter than me eats.
Her mother taught physical education for a while. HSH liked hamburgers and Prince Rainier III prepared flapjacks on weekends for the family at their country house. I know she liked cabbage and TexMex and enjoyed it in Monaco along with a few rich foods during formal occasions. It was a good diet.
I love your videos Laura ❤ Grace Kelly will always be my favourite princess 🙏👑 Can you please do a video on Elizabeth Montgomery who played Samantha Stephens in Bewitched? I just love her and how she used to play her cousin Serena too💖💖💖💫
@@Jeepgirls1978 Same here 😊 I idolized her too and her gorgeous wardrobe 😍💖 She was such a natural beauty. Bewitched lacked a hefty wardrobe budget and often borrowed from it's leading ladies personal wardrobes. Kasey Rogers who played Louise Tate (the wife of Darrin's boss Larry) recalled bringing her own clothes to set weekly. Montgomery also say that she often wore her own clothes on the show too. I can't believe Tabitha played by Erin Murphy is now 56 and has 6 kids!! Wow 😮😱💗
Lovely Grace! Today her diet is common, but back in 1950's not eating meat was strange to society (such as not drinking milk). It would be very Nice to see Greta Garbo' s diet, considering that she had to diet in her early career. Thanks for this wonderful video!! 🍓
@Alejandro Ascencio In terms of nutrition (I'm not a speciallist), I'd keep this growing idea to eat more vegetables, practice meditation and some exercise addapted for the body (yoga Works for me , but maybe running Works to a friend). A balanced life. 🌸
When i want to lose weight for years i rely on only vegetables, salads, snacks sunflower seeds, lots of water and juice drinks, weight lose is quickly done.
But yet she evidently had a stroke while driving and went down an embankment then died of a traumatic brain injury(?) Sounds like she was very healthy all of her life then to have a stroke or aneurism?
The gossip I've heard all my life was that Grace's daughter Stephanie (who had been telling everyone she wanted to be a race car driver) was behind the wheel, driving very recklessly. To save Stephanie from being charged with a crime or publicly blamed for her mother's death, the palace gently massaged the facts. It's something of an open secret in Monaco.
My grandfather was extremely strong and healthy and died of an aneurysm. He had an enlarged basilar artery that ended up being the cause. Sometimes those things just happen, regardless of how well taken care of you are.
I doubt she drank green tea in those days as an American in Europe. Green tea didnt even come to Europe till 80s and only in health shops which very few in those days. I know as i worked in one of the first health shops
Green tea was very popular as smoked gunpowder and jasmine blends. Remember she lived in Monaco and married into one of Europes royal families. She wasnt buying from Health food shops, rather Parisian importers like Mariage Frères.
I like these videos but I definitely think they could be shorter - you said she ate oatmeal for breakfast and ate whole grains about four times. Otherwise I really enjoyed it!
Yes, I'm loving these diet videos! Could you please do Ava Gardner, Lauren Bacall, Gene Tierney, Dorothy Dandridge, Rita Hayworth, Vivien Leigh, Ann Margaret, and Sofia Loren?
Grace was very slim when young. In her older years she gained. But I would like to know how her daughters Caroline and Stephanie eat. Both now over 50, they have kept their really good figures. But I cannot find anything on how they eat. However I notice that all the royals who have chefs and cooks cooking them regular meals, all have great figures. Guess regular eating keep people in good shape
people do usually gain weight with age as your metabolism slows down a lot. I think exercise is important and of course they must have great healthy diets made by wonderful chefs ahaha xx
I think of her alot lately as an American who successfully and graciously navigated the world of royalty, contrasting with the current American grasping, whiner, victim.
Not at all! Her diet was really healthy. I've been eating like this since I was 12 (I'm now 25), I'm slim but not too thin and I have no deficiency in calories or other things. People nowadays simply eat way too much (as we can all see if we look around...).
Fandera Rosetto yes! That’s what I thought!! I’m athletic and need protein with every meal, and nearly every snack as well! And if you’re Italian, like I am, you love and appreciate food, especially pasta! I don’t know; her diet couldn’t fit my lifestyle is all.

Her diet sounds very modern for back then. Almost vegetarian. Back in the '50s, being even semi-vegetarian was unusual.
The interview was done in 1982. When she was an actress she probably had a different regime as she was younger and was either filming or being photographed.
@@AnnaMaria-oy1fp very true. As she ages she gained weight in which is a natural thing most women go through.
Vegetarian was already exist in the 19th Century and even Charlie Chaplin mentioned it in his 1940s films
@@joshbrescia4139 I didn't say it didn't exist, it just wasn't mainstream until the latter part of the 20th century.

It’s too bad the foods we have available to us these days aren’t as pure as they were back then. I absolutely adore Grace. Her name suited her well ❤️
You can find them. They’re around but I see what you mean
Her mother was a fashion model and dad an olympic athlete so she got good genes and healthy habits! Most beautiful star ever!
Good genes (medically) didn’t actually translate to her and her brother. She suffered a stroke at 52 and her brother died from a heart attack while jogging in his 50’s.
Hers sounds more modern than the others. Could you do Bridgette Bardot’s diet?
I love the Grace Kelly diet. Her approach is very similar to the type of sensible eating plan we're encouraged to follow today.
Her diet sounds like the diet I had to go on . My stomach doctor ordered a high fiber diet for my stomach trouble. Alot of water ,fruit, Vegs etc. It really calm down my stomach trouble. Love your videos 😍
