I've never taken alcohol or any drugs. To scared of the danger and to losing control over myself. I hope that young people watch this and think twice before testing it.
Completely agree. The main reasons why I refuse to take any drugs is since I don't really need them (closest I've come to was wanting stimulants but often times acute stress or just going to sleep work just as well), I value/like being fully aware (there goes any chance of ever taking a depressant), and of course addiction just seems like an excellent way to waste money and health. That said I'm generally fine with people taking drugs (won't enforce my view on them) but I'd want everyone of those people to be able to fully justify and understand the consequences of using drugs before giving them a try.

@@antons4419 well it’s been 8years and my heart is still now what it was . It’s a lot better though because at first it was really bad. People who had bad experiences with MDMA often have no idea of safer use rules or they just know some of them and ignore some important advice. Many people don't do heart checks with their doctor on a regular basis before they plan a MDMA experience, they take too much MDMA in small time intervals, they use it along with alcohol, some people take it to distract themselves from their bad mood instead of using MDMA to enhance good times, they often take more than the initial dose because they don't want the peak to end, they cant put up with it that every good evening needs to come to an end and that phases of extreme euphoria will manipulate your sense of time. 3 hours will feel like 1. Many people dont appreciate this phase after the peak is over because if your dose was too high you start to become depressed. But if you use the right dosage then the time after the peak is very nice, an afterglow experience with no depressive thoughts at all. Some people really think that feeling bad after taking MDMA is totally normal because they always take too much MDMA or even take an extra dose on a regular basis. Many people also don't think of safe spots in their environment: Where do I get fresh water? Can I go to the toilet without waiting? Is there a spot where I can calm down if I feel exhausted? Are there people around me who will help me if I don't feel alright? So in the end they mostly drink not enough and wont listen to their own body.. The rest is physics.
I took this drug around 5 yesterday and this morning my girlfriend left to work I felt okay but I could still feel the effects strongly . I know this might not be seen, But i really hope for an answer. Im a little unsure about my first ecstasy trip & its effects on my heart Im a 17 y/o girl, took 170mg this past Saturday (two days ago) & recorded my heart because, while i was rolling, it felt "funny". I listened to it sober & was it fucking mortifying, after some research & my little amateur knowledge, it sounded like attrial fibrillation to me. Im not sure, though. Does someone here kniw these things? My highest bpm while on mdma was 176 & my bloodpressure was 156 (laying in my bed, not moving at all) Both devices started beeping since this is too high, but i felt alright, no pain apart from my jaw spasm (thank u, whoever came up with chewing gum. I owe u one.) So i texted my friends (i was home at this point, but they live technically nextdoor & kelt texting/calling to check on me) and just kept chilling. Since then, Ive had mild chest pains & when doing any kind if exercise, like walking stairs, my bpm rise to 100 or higher, yet still in yhe normal-ish range. This was not the case before though. When resting, my bpm are lower then they used to be as well. My oxygen levels were partly low too, >93, which is the point at my dad who suffers from copd starts considering a hospital. What do i do?

I was following your videos as I had a sudden and rather severe nocturnal angina. My doctor couldn't find much and yet I felt like dying every night. I tried a ton and what eventually helped was a red ginseng supplement. I could feel it reside within a few days and it's entirely gone again.
OMG. I'm so glad I stopped all that shit almost 11 years ago.
Why were you talking it in the first place? That’s what’s wrong with people, they do what feels good.
@@celestecarrera2963 True, but there's a second, even more dangerous reason, namely:Drugs (narcotics) is one of the devil's weapons against us humans, so he, the devil, makes sure to present it well-appealing to us, while at the same time hiding its ugly side, it's called deception!
@@celestecarrera2963 Why would you want to do what feels bad? You don't know what someone might be going through or the environment that they're in that might lead them to those decisions. And making drug use taboo only drives users into the dark where they wallow in their own self pity because they are too scared and ashamed to ask for help.
all trustees of "modern chemistry" should pay attention to this clearly explained information.... so dont do it . His shirts just get better and better.
Pure MDMA in regular doses hasn’t been known to kill anyone.
Nor has being stupid.
Frightening. But im still alive???
I was just curious if you could site the studies you were mentioning. Please and thank you.
I did ecstasy an average of once a week for about 4-5 years, from aged 17 til about 22. Either md or pills. Mixed with alcohol 90% of the time and sometimes with cannabis or ketamine too. I have no idea what it's like now but London used to have so many options for a late night rave. Almost wish I grew up in the country lol. I'm now 28 and no problems except I sometimes suffer with anxiety. This video does worry me a little but most studies conclude potential problems with mental health long term. Never heard about the heart before.
Anyone else have a similar story and if so, how are you doing now?
Please do one on cannabis
Dr gupta sir I think it is one of your latest video very terrific and an alarming signal to people who take it hope it will guide them good wishes I like your this eye opener 09/11/2019
Dr Gupta have you made a video on methamphetamine and the effects on the heart? I’m a struggling addict and forcing myself to at least become educated and aware would help me
After watching Ur video I m sure that word per se ecstasy is misnomer when u related to dic and all that, I got it well correlated explanation to Ur clinical scenario.thanks a ton.
If one has unregular heartbeating of some kind, I find, that by triggering adrenaline, like as if getting pissed off at something voluenterly or even nothing specific at all, the best way and so most controllable way, one can control or normalise and stabilise heartrythme; What do you think about this, is it workable so to calm one down or can it hold danger? Could this be good for people with weak flabby heart as you talk about in video?
Been sober for years. Nothing like being high on life. For real.
your comment is very sad.
so much pain in your words.
I hope you are well for real.
What about medical marijuana and your heart ?
@Big Ballah actually there is a very temporary increase in heart rate initially but then it goes down and blood pressure also goes down after about an hour
Dr., I have you ever tried ecstasy the way you describing it… I believe you did…
Thanks doctor
Thank you.
How did they diagnosis the cardiac abnormalities? Through EKG? Echo?
Thank you for this!!
You're so welcome! - it'd mean a tonne to me if you'd ocnsider subscribing
Thank you Dr.
Soo can someone help my heart is beating really fast and I’m really scared
how are you now?
Thank you ❤❤❤❤🙌
Hey Doctor, this isn’t the topic but For the last 2 days I have ectopic beats. I’ve had them a couple months ago, my cardiologist put me on bisoprolol but now they’ve seemed to come back. I’m also a Fontan patient.
Thanks a lot for the video, very informative as the video on cocaine to stay on the theme. Can you also do a video on cannabis and it's impact on the heart ?
Hello Doc, I watched a lot of your videos and still watching them...l don’t know if you done a survey on fish oil and mega krill oil...do they really work as they say they do or just a waist of money...they claim that they are good for your heart ❤️????
Of course they are POSITIVE for your cardiac system in general...smh🙄
Should a person with HBP and AFIB take an SNRI then ?
I know this might not be seen,
But i really hope for an answer.
Im a little unsure about my first ecstasy trip & its effects on my heart
Im a 17 y/o girl, took 170mg this past Saturday (two days ago) & recorded my heart because, while i was rolling, it felt "funny".
I listened to it sober & was it fucking mortifying, after some research & my little amateur knowledge, it sounded like attrial fibrillation to me.
Im not sure, though.
Does someone here kniw these things?
My highest bpm while on mdma was 176 & my bloodpressure was 156 (laying in my bed, not moving at all)
Both devices started beeping since this is too high, but i felt alright, no pain apart from my jaw spasm (thank u, whoever came up with chewing gum. I owe u one.)
So i texted my friends (i was home at this point, but they live technically nextdoor & kelt texting/calling to check on me) and just kept chilling.
Since then,
Ive had mild chest pains & when doing any kind if exercise, like walking stairs, my bpm rise to 100 or higher, yet still in yhe normal-ish range.
This was not the case before though.
When resting, my bpm are lower then they used to be as well.
My oxygen levels were partly low too, >93, which is the point at my dad who suffers from copd starts considering a hospital.
What do i do?
@YorkCardiology Hi doctor I’ve learned alot from you. Briefly during my last trimester they diagnosed me with SVT or AT my palpitations goes up to 200.. and after delivery palpitations disappeared. But still talking betablocker & digoxin. Is it risky to get pregnant again later?
Hemyan 2 you are better off emailing Sanjay to ask this; alternatively, chat with your own Dr who knows your medical history.
Problem is people abuse drugs and take too much and dont know what they are even taking or of its mixed with something else.
Can you drink alcohol before or after taking beta blockers
no you shouldn't
if i used it in the 90s, and have been checked ok by cardiologists today i should be good right ? :)
Madonna has long kept singing about Molly, slang for mdma and looks like she is on and off in but mostly on for her shows. Try to look at diff. pictures so to study such potential mechanisms in succesfull such peopls... if you believe her singing about Molly is what it is... looking like is.

Are you in the US?
What effect did the 1/4 tab have on you? did you hallucinate?
overdramatizing
So is the damage completely irreversible?
Intandem DJ , the doctor is clearly saying not. The damage can be permanent.
CLEARLY that’s NOT TRUE!
Well there’s go my plans for the night
Wish u woulda watched this before i poped 7 ina week
7 tabs? its a miracle ur still alive!
@@ivornworrell yea it was my first hard drug i could shake the feeling. I am blessed to
Be alive fr the first week after everyday i felt like i was gonna die, pannic attacks dont even describe how it felt my whole brain heart and arms would jus be pulsing and my vision would start closing in truly fucking awful lmao. I found tumeric helped my brain from inflammation, exercise and not smoking weed/ vaping helped my heart and chamomile tea and a caffine break helped the anxiety im relatively normal now
@@PoloDownSnipa I'm glad that you're now ok, as for me, I was tempted by a woman to use hard drugs last night, thank God I resisted the temptation, bcz i've seen videos & read of the devastating effects of drugs, but up to now at 51yrs ive never used any.May God keep us safe.
Gucci style!
Messed my body up on XTC over 12 years ago. Nearly overdosed. I prayed to God hard and luckily I’m still alive but now suffering heart issues, stomach issues and depression... it fucked my life
Fake ecstasy for sure that’s what test kits are for 🥱
@@dustinnewell3988 fake OR real, its STILL very dangerous to take drugs!
@@ivornworrell All drugs should not be put under the same scrutiny. This is why programs like DARE fail. They warn about how devastating marijuana is, even after one use, and abstinence only. Once a kid tries cannabis, sees that it's not that big of a deal, then they begin to wonder what else adults are lying about. Cannabis isn't a gateway drug in and of itself, the lies that are told about it are what creates that gateway.
@@billweir1745 OK, but how do you explain about ppl who smoke the cannabis ie, sin semilla & be walking in the streets with barely any knowledge of themselves or surroundings.I've seen them, & when asked how long they've been standing on street corner, they think its just minutes when its often hours! Plus the white part of their eyes look all red n bloodshot & their fingernails look all brown n rusty.A v.sad sight of a human being.Salaam
fuck i didnt realise it was that dangerous
Revisit this, be more objective, they give rats a quarter of their body weight in mdma, hardly a realistic dose for a human being.
Brain fryer, it kills!
X'd out rn
omg
My resting heart rate is 120, is that normal. Been drinking and had my dose 7 or so hours ago
How are you now?
@@prakash00xx better now, had no sleep for a few days so don't think it was MDMA
@@isashepherd8420 thats good to hear, Kindly stay away from any sort of drugs. Its not worth it.
@@isashepherd8420 hey there, if ur restlessness was after taking it, thats probably ehy
