Что б машина развалилась по сварке ей как минимум нужно ударить ещё раз по тому же месту, так что это судьба! Самое главное что сварено всё правильно( об этом говорят зазоры,значит с геометрией всё в порядке! Ставлю класс Артуру!!!

Tend to agree and this goes for most of his work. Highly skilled without doubt, but this is called a cut and shut job and is illegal in many countries.

2. Практически все делаю, если несложные работы. Моя примая работа, кузов.
3. Практически нет, ну если разобрать пол салона, тогда увидишь.

Ненадо ничего разбирать. Толщинометром надо всегда по стойкам пройтись и порогам. В местах сварки будет шпакли наложено.

Никто не курит. Даже при идеальном лужении и работе без шпакли, толщиномер всеравно выдаст. В месте лужения покажет толщину самого лужения (т.е расстояние до металла) или выдаст, что измеряется неметалл. В алюминевом кузове теоретически лужение должно спасти. В реале никто не лудит, а просто шпаклюют.

Good repair... I agree it should pass some tests, but it isn't any different from other cars... Factory does spot welding and this weld is stronger than that... If done right, this car should be safe and strong like any other...
that is not true... this type of welding weakens the material and can lead to unpredictible behavior and cracks during crash and even normal usage. The original car is NOT welded at those places in the factory!
YOu need only basic engennering knowledge to see that it is a coffin on wheels. IF idd does look good it has nothing to do with parts stress and safety!
exacly... welding in areas where there was no welding before. is BIG NO! Even if he would add new metal or even made that place stronger than original. that is also a BIG NO! because the whole frame was designed to crack in special places in case of crash etc. if u will make some part stronger the whole force distribution will change..
can one tell about weld by paint thickness meter? or by ultrasonic weld quality control device? Thanks a lot
I didn’t see no weld done on the inner structure of the sail rail... to me this is a no no!

У меня пару месяцев назад было дтп, и оказалось что вся задняя часть в щепки гнилая, ярис версо 2002 года, рихтовать нечего, спасибо этому видео , если бы не оно. Все сделал как вы, усилители проварил как надо. По поводу "рассыпаться" в моем случае гнилая машина или как говорят распил, то я выбираю распил , но как сделано на видео то это не распил а ремонт авто) Вы своим видео мне спасли машину. Спасибо

You guys seem to forget that in engineering, weld joints are expected to be as strong as the welded cross sections, so no need to worry that the car will break in joints. The only thing that bothers me is if the welded chassis is properly secured from corrosion.

I find these videos very enjoyable and satisfactory, although my crafting skills are limited to screwdriver, hammer, double-sided tape and super glue.

Better? I was around in the 80's repairing motors, I have many years under my belt and I see no reason why these cars shouldn't be as strong as they were before the smash. It's that 'snowflake ego' kicking in, relax and take in the scenery ;)

Wow! This guy is awesome!!! Never seen anything like this before. His welds are good. No need to worry about structural weaknesses . You won't be carrying dirt or rocks in this car! In The USA they won't allow this to be done cause they don't have the skills and they like to throw away things.

Mojego Passata B5 1.6 benzyna prod. 2001 kupiłem w komisie w 2006 roku jako "bezwypadek" z przebiegiem 90tys.km. Piękny, czerwony sedan z klimą itp. - wszystko sprawne, żadnych stuków, silnik cichutki i suchutki, na ASO sprawdzili geometrię - WZORCOWA ! Nie dziwne chyba, że nawet się nie targowałem. Przez kolejnych 6 lat zrobiłem tym autem ponad 130 tyś. km. w przeróżnych warunkach. Dostawał dupę i na niemieckich autostradach i w górach Słowacji no i przede wszystkim na naszych polskich "bezdrożach" ;) Słuchajcie : NAJMNIEJSZEGO PROBLEMU ! Tylko standardowe, eksploatacyjne wymiany (płyny, klocki itp.) Najlepszy samochód jaki w życiu miałem (a było ich przed nim kilkanaście:) Latem 2012 roku całym pędem wjechał we mnie idiota z podporządkowanej :( Niestety, kasacja i szkoda całkowita mojego Passacika :( Prawdziwy szok nastąpił jednak po oględzinach wraku przez rzeczoznawcę. Skutki wypadku obnażyły PRAWDĘ o moim "super-wozie" - podłużnice, dach i cały tył pochodziły z 3-ch różnych aut (!) Nawet drzwi były pierwotnie w różnych kolorach! Nie mogłem uwierzyć, że przez 6 lat chwaliłem "po wszystkich odpustach" takiego MEGA-ULEPA!! ;/ Jednak mimo to powiem wam, że nie żałuję ani dnia z tych 6-ciu lat! Auto sprawowało się zawsze REWELACYJNIE i BEZPROBLEMOWO. Co z tego, że samochód poskładano z kilku innych, jeśli zrobiono to naprawdę DOBRZE z finalnym zachowaniem parametrów niemal NOWEGO egzemplarza? Gdybym wtedy przy zakupie cokolwiek "wyniuchał" ,to zapewne zrezygnowałbym z tego zakupu i tym samym PRZESZŁOBY MI KOŁO NOSA NAPRAWDĘ SUPER AUTO ! Czasem niewiedza bywa DOBROCZYŃCĄ, tak jak w moim przypadku było :) Tak więc "składak" wcale nie musi oznaczać "gorszy". Często są one lepiej, mocniej i dokładniej poskładane niż fabryczne egzemplarze, a twórcom tych "Frankensteinów" należą się wyrazy najwyższego uznania :)

this kind of repairs should be illegal because it is a powerful car and the owner is going to push it harder you don't want it to split up into two parts in a serious speed or crash

Yes but the owner will never know that this car was connected from two different cars. The owner will think that he got a great deal on a BMW 7 series. This is illegal, at least here in the States (but this was done in Russia)..
"Cut and shut", we call this in the UK - whilst it can be done legally, it makes no financial sense. If you do this, you cannot register the car until it has passed a proper type approval inspection, and even after that the car needs to have special number plates (specifically this will be a numberplate beginning with a Q) that make it essentially worthless.
Of course, just like in the US I would be very surprised if there are NOT some illegal cut'n'shut cars on the roads.

I wonder how tough is the entire car after the repair - like - If someone crashes you from behind in 50-60kmh, wont the car break in half? What influence does it have on deformation of the car?

This guy has good hands but a car this badly damaged.
No matter how well he has fixed it I would not touch this car they are never the same.
Its not the damage you can see its the metal fatigue you cant see.
I gaurantee that if this car was measured both sides top bottom width with laser measuring device it would be out even by a couple of milimeters.
replaceing a dented panel is one thing but structural damadge is another .
would have been better to scrap the shell and reshell the whole car in the UK this repair is called a cut and shut and it is ilegal.
cutting and welding the shell is unsafe period.
I live in Czech Republic and it's illegal here too, because after the repair the car is weaker than it was when it came out of the factory, and so it's not safe to drive. But in my opinion it's still safer than a lot of cars that are being driven every day on Czech roads.

@@deere72 unfortunately as good as it looks it’s in no way anywhere near a good repair these cars are no longer made from entirely the same grades of steel hence why you see blue bonding glue as he is cutting it apart once welded unfortunately car is just junk

+Игорь Черный cars in this program have not been involved in a crash , the insurance then rate A ,B, C, D, cars in the first A would be burnt out etc , B would have to have its body shell distroyed but engines ,gearbox , trim etc used .C are not economically worth it like 2000£ to fix a 2500£ car but if you fixit it must be checked buy police for stolen parts, and inspected for safety and road worthiness before it can be used on the road and the vehicle paper work is marked as such

Yes, there are various categories in the UK but these are guidance. If you bought any category salvage vehicle and made it roadworthy and it passed all tests it would be allowed to be used on the road. You can manufacture your own car in your garage from sheet metal if you want.
Before salvage dealers would sell all categories of salvage in the UK. Now they have to destroy/scrap the heavily damaged ones. The main reason for this is because people would buy heavily damaged cars just for the title deed and VIN number. Then go steal an identical car and place those details on it.
I believe he is working in Lithuania, because of the Lithuania number plates in other videos. But the bodywork is very well done!

Im shocked he went that far with the cutting. On winding roads and turns there will be enormous stress put on those welds especially since it is a performance car with a powerful rear wheel drive engine.
Search for BMW M3 E46 craking chassis problem and will get to know!!!
@@panchodharami8594 you dont know mutch about construction do you ?he did the cut in 3 parts so that the stress factor is about 0 there and vibrations and stress have nothing to do with theese places he put them because its the same places that factory recomends cutting
@@panchodharami8594 Arthur has a tendency to follow factory procedure when it comes to these extensive repairs. What you are seeing is largely the BMW recommendations for fixing something of this nature.

И получился распил .... , работа класс но я бы такого типа ремонты на законодательном уровне запретил , слишком серьёзный ремонт, по сути пол автомобиля под замену!!! Авто с задним приводом , мощным мотором , только представьте какие нагрузки на кручение идут на кузов !!!

К примеру стойка ощущение что порезана в районе фирменного изгиба , но герметик мазан не как у тебя тут в видео поперек , а как будто уходит внутрь багажника , такое может быть с завода ?
И еще момент смутил , есть не контактная сварка , а швы с каждой стороны в месте также на стойке где крыша только началась . Это точно конструктор ?
Работа суппер. Респект тебе за твои руки. Я не знаю как на бехе. Но на французах номер кузова и на задней полке багажника. А как эксперты пропустят ли такое авто на учет, или нет.

Chyba źle mnie zrozumiałeś.. Ten człowiek to prawdziwy artysta bo z takiego złomu umie wyprowadzić auto ale wyraziłem słuszną chyba obawę o to jak auto się zachowa w razie wypadku. Spawy takie jak te w tak ważnych miejscach osłabiają konstrukcję. Zresztą ja nikomu nie bronię kupować takich aut bo nie każdy ma kasę na nowe auto, tylko potem człowiek słyszy o przypadkach, że jeden z drugim z niewyjaśnionych przyczyn zjechał na przeciwny pas ruchu. Artur ma doświadczenia i widać że nie klepie byle czego. Bardziej się obawiam o Mirków złomiarzy.

Не сомневаюсь в мастерстве автора,но от этой работы он должен был отказаться. А этот автомобиль должен был пойти на разборку, на заднеприводный бмв с мощным движком такие ремонты делать нельзя, понятное дело что автору хорошо заплатили за ремонт, а хозяин быстренько продаст авто за приличную сумму утаив правду. Так и живем, лишь бы карман свой набить, а на безопастность и на жизнь людей плевать.

Exactly. Those cars always seem messed up. Seen so many of those where the chassis starts falling apart.
The limousine "conversion" is not addressed as mass production car. It does not requested to pass the crash test. Most USA car insurgence company will pay you total instead to fix the car damaged like the video to avoid problem and or law suit..

TheSushiraw the limos all have extensive strengthening put into the chassis and body. Suspension and brakes are also normally upgraded to cope with the added weight and stresses.

The reapir is over lapped in 3 different sections but I would have like to have seen alot more reinforcement. The repair is definitely do able with a little more thought into it. A thicker rib going through 2 layers of steel on the sail panel bent to shape about 1.5 inches wide and inlaid 6 inches on top of seem and bottom of seam. Just like a Dutchman. Repair in wood working. Something similar long the bottom as well as in the rocker panels. These reinforcement bars should be around 1/8 th inch thick. The floor should have 12 guage steel over the top of that whole floor and over the seam and bent up box style into the seat frame. And something similar underneath the car as well. If it was reinforced like that I believe it would hold well in a hard side impact as well as high speed maneuvering.
