I was yelling for her to run the whole time. Him and his family are insecure and controlling. He met her as a Instagram model. Now it's what pushes him away. Well she is causing confusion and drama so she can run, but God knows she can't hide. Accountability is necessary for Ashley and any woman seeking a commitment needs to learn to make sacrifices such as dealing with the messiness.
William comes up like a very insecure, misogynistic little man. All those muscles are just a coverup for how small he is inside. Ashley previously married a very controlling & abusive man when she was young and sadly she’s replaying those same patterns. His family is clearly just jealous & pressed; everything they said just sounded like jealousy. She’s a FITNESS influencer, naturally she will show her body, but there’s nothing inherently wrong or dirty about a woman’s body. If he’s that threatened, then he needs to deal with his insecurity because he knew what her job was when he meant her. He thinks she is “his woman” and has to do what he says, and wants some old 1940’s era relationship, but that’s not relevant anymore. If he wants some relationship where everything goes his way and the woman cooks and cleans and dresses up the neck, then go find that. But don’t try to change her when you know who she was when you met her. And he was trying to come at Derek, but Derek has been dealing with angry little homophobes like William his whole life. He was not bothered at all. If I was Ashley I would move on. That bulked-up muscle-rat is not what she needs.

Derek had the most sense. He identified the red flags, it's so frustrating to see everyone turn against him just because he didn't want to shake that man's hand. It felt like the fiance was using that as a way to deflect from all the other valid red flags that Derek brought up - signs of him being controlling, him yelling, and so on.

The brother didn’t call Will germy. He was saying in general he prefers not to shake hands because of germs. He offered a dap and explained he why he didn’t want to shake hands. It is also "biblical" to stay married, that did not happen for her. And technically no one has spoken to all the values he so called has but THEY LIVE TOGETHER and ARE INTIMATE just 4 months after her divorce and I am willing to bet they were intimate before that move in and her divorce being finalized which means broken vows and coveting for the both of them. He had issues since the beginning about social media, but you stayed with him. She moved in with a man the day after she signed her divorce papers. The brother throwing stones in a glass house, but hides his hand when the stones get thrown back. Everyone else knows they have no business being together.
What William said to the brother was wrong, but to see how people rationalized how the brother acted is crazy. It's all toxic. Ashley needs to take care of herself first and the same for William. They both need to establish boundaries with their family and they might need to not discuss their relationship with them. Counseling is a must, in my opinion, for those two to be successful in the future.

I strongly feel like no one should never tell anybody that they’re dealing with about their past because now I start to see that a lot of people will use or take advantage of peoples past and still trying to bring it into the future. I just pray for this woman to have better days and to literally take your time to get married. If you just got out of an abusive relationship, you shouldn’t be jumping into another one not everybody’s going to be your superhero you gotta be your own.
